Bughead : Lost in love

Chpt 60 : Superhero Betty's POV

     I woke up to the steady sound of the beeping monitor. I've been in the hospital for three days due to the fact that I had so many complications after the incident. I would finally get realeased to go back home today. I felt bad for Jughead too, he's practically been living in the hospital. Between me and his dad he's been at the hospital a lot. He only goes home at night for a little bit so that Kylie can at least have her 'dad' with her at night. I wasn't comfortable with Kylie sleeping in the hospital considering how sick people are here. She would probably be fine if she stayed here but I just wanted to make sure Kylie would be safe.

     I was sitting in my room swiping through my Instagram feed which was dominated by posts from Cheryl. I kept scrolling until I heard the door open and I saw my two favorite people. "Hi guys!" I said excitedly as I sat up in my bed. "Hey Betts. I brought you food from home, even though it's not allowed." He said smiling while handing me Kylie. "Ah this is why I love you." I said giggling and moving over on the bed to make room for Jughead.

     He sat down next to me and allowed me to rest my head on his shoulder while Kylie sat on my lap messing around with her hands. "Ok, I got you Oreos, Doritos and Mountain Dew." He said taking all the food out the bag. He was so nice, he always treated me like a queen. I took the bag of Oreos and let Kylie hold the bag of Doritos. She was really excited about that Dorito bag, it was kinda cute. "Thanks juggie. Your too good to me." I said leaning up to give him a kiss. It was just a quick tap on the lips but it still made me happy. I put an Oreo in my mouth as Jughead took one from the box as well.

     I heard a knock on the door then I realized it was probably the doctor. "Shit, hide the food!" I said quietly while moving the Oreos under the blanket. It was really annoying they didn't allow me to eat other foods even though it would probably be ok to. It was like I was pregnant all over again and had to do a crazy weird diet. "Come in." I said sitting up from leaning on Jug's shoulder and moving Kylie onto my lap. She still had the Doritos in her hand which the doctor would probably notice, but oh well. It made Kylie smile for some reason so I let her keep holding. "I see you have Kylie here again." The doctor said. He was the same doctor who helped me deliver Kylie so he knew her pretty well. "Ya, I always like seeing my little girl." I said which caused her to smile.

     She was bouncing up and down on my lap and giggling which made me smile. "She's the cutest isn't she?" I whispered to jug while rubbing the back of his neck. "She's adorable." He said kissing my cheek. "So, Betty you're clear to leave today. You can check out anytime today, take as long as you need." The doctor said checking off his clipboard. I looked up at Jughead and smiled. I then leaned towards his face and pulled him into a kiss. The kiss was short yet full of passion. We had to pull away however due to the fact that I wanted to get the hell out the hospital. "Did you bring me a change of clothes by any chance?" I asked jug while playing with Kylie's small little toes. "I actually did believe it or not." He said cupping me cheek which was still scarred.

      I leaned in and crashed his creamy lips against mine. Our lips loved in unison as I re positioned myself so I had better access to his lips as the kiss intensified. My hand trailed down to underneath his shirt and up his back until we both finally pulled away. "God I just can't stop loving you can I." I said pressing my hand on his chest. "Guess not Juliet." He said looking me in the eyes and smiling. "Alright, go get your lazy ass up. Time to get out this place." He said laughing and handing me the bag full of clothes. "Don't curse I'm front of Kylie!" I said giggling kind of because Kylie looked so clueless. She perked up when I said her name and dropped her dorito bag. "Alright sorry. I didn't mean too Kyles. You know daddy loves you right." He said picking her up high in the air. "Do you love dada?" He said making Kylie giggled. "Dada!" She squealed. "Holy shit! She said her first words!" I said almost crying.

     I was so happy that she talked and it made my heart flutter that her first words were daddy. "Hey I thought no cursing in front of the baby." Jughead said giggling with a goofy smile on his face. He was probably really excited about Kylie saying dad as her first word. "Sorry I just got so excited." I said blushing. "Alright, go get changed. Me and Kylie can clean up your stuff so we can go." Jughead said getting of the bed but leaving Kylie propped against the messy pillows.

     I quickly changed out of my uncomfortable hospital gown and into a pair of sweats and one of Jug's S t shirts that I always love to sleep in. "Alright Jug, I'll get Ky and you can grab the bag?" I asked him making sure he was alright with carrying the bag. "Ya. Let's go put our stuff in the car and then we can go see FP." He said holding the door open for me. "Ok." I responded picking up Kylie who was repeatedly saying dada. "She just won't shut up now Jug." I said giggling at the baby squirming while reaching for jug. "Juggie Kylie wants you to hold her." I said rubbing her soft hair. "Here, I'll take the bag." I said giving Kylie over to Jug. "It's fine Betts. I mean after all you were literally just in a hospital so it's the least I can do." He said smiling at me. "Gosh jug you're so nice that it's almsot annoying me now." I said giggling.

     It's not that I don't appreciate him being nice, that's not true at all. It's the fact that he does so much for me and I don't feel like I do enough for him. "Well too bad cause you're stuck with me." He said grappling my hand. "I love you so much Jug." I said putting my arm around his shoulder. "I love you too Betts." He said back as we made it to car. We put the bags into the car and went back inside the hospital.

      We made our way into FP's room and saw him sitting on his bed watching tv. "Hey dad." Jughead sais sitting in a chair next to the bed. "Hey guys." FP said wincing while he tried to sit up. "Don't hurt yourself dad, be careful." Jughead said while bouncing Kylie on his lap. "Its alright Jug. Anyways what's going on kids?" FP asked us. "Well I'm finally getting out today and Kylie also said her first words." I said smiling and reaching over to hold Kylie's fingers. "Really What was she saying?" FP asked excitedly. "You wanna tell FP what you said Kyles?" Jughead said making Kylie smile. She always smiles and it's so adorable. "Dada!" Kylie said bouncing on Jughead lap and trying to give him a hug. "Yea! Good girl Ky." Jug said smiling and giving Kylie a big hug.

     We stayed with FP for a while until it was lunch time and Jug figured we should go home. I got in side and plopped down into the couch. It was so nice to be home. It was so scary being taken from my dad and being beat and cut. I was sitting on my couch think about my dad and something just made me scream. I was so scared of everything and I just wanted to get the horrible thoughts out of my head. "Betty?!" Jughead said coming over to me. "Betts what's wrong." He asked coming over to me as I was crying. "I just want it to stop." I said sobbing into his chest. "What do you want to stop." He said twirling my hair and hugging me tightly. "Just everything." I said crying. "Come here Betts. You're gonna be ok. Your dads is jail and you're here with me now." He said rubbing my back as I cried.

     I just cried and cried. I never wanted to see my dad again. The more I thought about him the more scared I was and the more pain I felt. It almsot felt like my dad was digging the knife into my leg all over again or whipping my back another time. "Betty I'm here, calm down you're gonna be ok." He said calming me down. Once I got my shit back together I sat up and rested my head on his shoulder. "God, sorry I'm such a mess." I mumbled into his neck. "Hey no you're not. You've been through so much shit Betty. You're the strongest person I know. So sure, you may feel like a mess but you're not because you're so strong Betty." He said looking me dead in the eye. "Thanks Juggie." I said leaning in to give him a kiss.

     First the kiss was soft until it grew with passion. I moved my legs to straddle his lap on the couch and pressed my lips harder against his. His hands traveled down to my waist as we continued moving our lips together. One of his hands traveled down to my butt and gently gripped it causing a moan to slip from my mouth. We kissed for what felt like hours but was only a matter of minutes. I eventually pulled away due to the fact that our lips were both bright pink. "God I just can't get enough of you." He said once we were both cuddled up together on the couch. "I guess not." I said rubbing his back as we both enjoyed eachothers company for the rest of the day.

     He means the world to me. I mean, he's literally saved my life twice. When I thought of that for some reason to caused me to giggle. It just proves how much I need him in my life. "What." He said as he noticed me giggle. "Nothing, it's just you've literally saved my life twice Jug. It just proves how much we need each other." I said smiling. "I guess that right." He said pulling my into a tight hug hanging onto me for dear life. "You're my super hero Jug."
