Bughead : Lost in love

Chpt 16 : Worry Jughead's POV

I was really worried about Betty. She looked so sick and sad. My heart ached thinking about her. Veronica walked over to me and Archie and sat down by us. "Veronica did Betty tell you anything? The only thing she told me is that she has family drama and it's making her sick." I asked. I wanted to help her and I didn't know how. "No she said nothing. But speaking jughead, not to be to personal but have you and Betty, you know, had sex?" Veronica asked.

Why would she be asking if we had sex? The answer to the question was no. We've had some really intense make outs but no sex yet. I was thinking why she asked when it hit me. Veronica was wondering if Betty was pregnant. "No to answer your question. Do you really think she is pregnant? I don't think she is cheating on me but if she was cheating it may describe her behavior." I told Veronica. I was so confused.

No matter what I just wanted to make sure Betty was ok. "I don't think Betty would cheat on you though. She always brags to me about how great you are." Veronica said. I smiled when I heard that. It made me feel good to know Betty loves me. "Maybe I should go talk to her. I think she may need to talk something out. I also want to make sure she isn't doing anything dumb." I said. I was really worried about Betty. I wanted to make sure she wasn't going to hurt herself. "Maybe you should go after your next period, it think it will be ok" Veronica said.

I decided I could last another class period but the whole time I was focused on Betty. I was so worried about her, but it was probably just me being a protective boyfriend. The rest of the class went in with me watching the clock and thinking of Betty.
