Chpt 44 : Shopping With a Twist Betty's POV

Today Veronica decided we need to do a shopping day. I wanted the spend time with Veronica but I didn't really want to go shopping. Me feet were really swollen and I was starting to get pretty fat now. Being honest pregnancy is really annoying. In the first trimester I kept throwing up and not many people knew I was pregnant so it was difficult. In the second trimester I literally got no sleep because my baby wouldn't stop kicking. Now I'm in the third trimester I just feel like a fat whale and can barley move. Even though my baby is kicking I'm just sleeping a lot when I'm not at school.

     I've been going to half days at school but I've stopped now. I'm 6 weeks away from giving birth. To be honest, I'm really scared, but hopefully shopping with Veronica would get this whole giving birth thing off my mind. "Jugggiieeeee." I called out while I was sitting in the bed trying to reach my converse. "Coming Betts." He said as he poked his head through the door and smiled. "Can you help me out my shoes on." I said as I made a face and sighed. "Really? You can't even put your shoes on?" He said as he laughed and tied my shoes. "No. It sucks jughead. I literally feel like a dead whale." I said as I leaned back.

     Jughead laid down next to me and rubbed my stomach while my baby kicked. "I feel her in there." He said as he pressed on my stomach. "Ya. She won't stop. It's really annoying." I said as she finally stopped moving. "Let me help you up Betts. You don't want to be too late." He said as he grabbed my hand. I sighed as I slowly got up. He held onto my arm as he led me to the car. "Jug you know I can walk right?" I said as I got out the door. "Ya but I don't want you to fall Betts. Your 6 weeks away!" He said as he patted my stomach. I looked up as his smile and kissed his lips. He helped me sit into the passengers seat because he was driving me to the mall then he would go hand with his friends after.

     We arrived at the mall and Jughead was quick to help me out the car. He was such a gentleman. He was being truly the best boyfriend. As I was nearing my due date and being more needy and moody he was still by my side helping me no matter what. I honestly didn't deserve him. Jug watched me as I walked over to Veronica and then he drove off. "Hey B! Oh my gosh your about to pop!" Veronica said as she grabbed my hand and started walking it it he stroes. "Ya I'm 6 weeks away from my due date." I said as my baby kicked AGAIN. "Oh my gosh! We should go last minute baby shopping." She said as first walked into Sephora.

     "Does baby have a name yet?" Veronica asked as we both she swatched an eye shadow color onto her toned arms. "I'm still deciding between Kylie or Lili." I responded as I looked at a cute pink lipstick on display. "Oh those are both so cute! I like Kylie More being honest but it's your choice." Veronica said as she continued to swacth dark eyeshadows on her arm. "I'm sort of leaning more towards Kylie but I'll ask jug." I said as I put the pink lipstick onto my arm to see the color. "That lipstick would look good on you B." Veronica said as she picked up the eyeshadow pallet she was eyeing. "I'll buy you it. Let's go buy our stuff." She said as she took the lipstick from my hand. "You really don't have to V." I said as I placed a hand onto my stomach. "Umm yes I do." She said as she paid. "Thanks V." I said as we both walked into the baby store.

     "It's so weird thinking I'm gonna be a mom." I said as I thought. Holy shit it was so weird. "I know you'll be a great mom. And you won't be alone. Im a phone call away and I'm sure Jughead will there by your side." Veronica said as I saw a cute baby onesie. I picked up the onsie and figured I would buy it, it was cute with polka dots. "It's so all so surreal. Literally in 10 weeks I will have given birth. I'll have a baby living with me in as many as 10 weeks." I said as I dropped the onesie I was holding. "Dammit I dropped it." I said as I leaned down to grab it but Veronica got it for me. "Don't bend down Betty. I got it for you. Don't worry. If you want I can come with you in the hospital when you have your baby." She said as she handed me the onsie and I picked out more clothes for my baby. "I don't know. Maybe I'll have you in the room. So far into Jug is gonna be there." I said.
