Bughead : Lost in love

Part 50 : Wrapped Up Jughead's POV

     I finished up my breakfast and rushed off the dirty plates. She had to go upstairs and play with Kylie because she was crying and throwing a fit upstairs. Kylie was now around one month old and was getting even cuter by the second. At first it was awkward taking care of Chuck's kid but now I don't care. Kylie is basically like my kid now, so I'm just trying to be a good dad, or at least better than my dad was.

     I yawned as I plodded up the stairs and strolled towards the nursery where I heard Betty baby talking with Kylie. "Look it's Juggie." Betty said to Kylie who was laying on her play mat. Betty was holding a squeaking giraffe toy that Kylie was interested in. "Hi Ky! How's it's going Betty?" I said sitting down next Betty straddling my legs. I pulled Kylie close to me in between my legs and leaned her small body against me so that she would be able to sit up. "I'm good. I wanted to sit with Kylie for a bit." She said leaning her head onto my shoulder.

     Betty picked up the giraffe toy which made a squeak. Kylie jolted her head towards the foreign sound and bounced up and down in my lap giggling. "You liked That didn't you." I said tickling Kylie making her smile wide. "Aw juggy look at how cute you two are." Betty said squeaking the toy more and giving it to Kylie. "I love our little family." Betty whispered as she played with a Kylie's minimal brown hair. "Me too." I said as I looked at Kylie who was all to focused on her new giraffe toy. Kylie was still leaning onto me so she could sit up while Betty was leaning on my shoulder with my arm around her.

     Betty gripped onto another toy that was on the mat nearby. The toy was a hexagon with a rainbow of colors that rattles. Kylie didn't do anything, she just leaned onto me more and shut her eyes. "Looks like your little girl is sleepy." I said rubbing Betty's shoulder. "I'll put her asleep." I said untangling myself from Betty and picking up Kylie. Kylie was already starting to get kind of heavy, but I can easily carry her in one arm. Kylie yawned as I set her compact body down onto her comfortable bed and left the room to find Betty.

     "Hey Betts, I was thinking of hanging with the serpents for a bit today." I said putting on my leather jacket. "Sure, but I'll miss you. We also need to meet with Mary as well as Chuck and his lawyer today. After all, we did finally take legal action and file a complaint against him." Betty said seriously while taking a sip from her coffee I made for her. "What time is that at?" I asked her while I hopped a little bit to sit on the kitchen counter we were near. "It's at 2:00, so you probably have time to go with your friends." She said setting her empty coffee cup in the sink. "You can come with me if you want." I offered as I pulled her body in between my legs. "It's ok. I should watch Kylie anyways." She said leaning her head on my chest. "Alright then Betts. I'll see you later. Text me if your or Kylie need anything ok?" I said placing my chin ontop her head that was still resting on my chest. "Ok. See ya Jug." She said moving her head off my chest allowing for me to step outside the house.

I arrived at serpent bar and was greeted by Fangs who always arrived early at the bar. "Are sweets and T here?" I asked wanting to see all my friends. "Ya they're around the corner actually." Fangs said patting my back. I gripped onto his shoulder as we broth walked around the corner of the bar to find Sweet Pea and Toni with her red-head girlfriend Cheryl. "Hey guys, Cheryl." I said greeting the serpents as well as Cheryl. Toni had Cheryl wrapped up in her arms and Cheryl's head was placed on her shoulder. "Jughead. How is Betty doing?" Cheryl asked looking concerned and moving out of Toni's grip. "She and baby are good." I replied as I went over the Sweat Pea and pulled him into a quick bro-hug. "That's good to hear Jug." Toni said once more gripping Cheryl's waist.

     It was weird with Cheryl being in a serpent bar considering her dislike for the serpents but maybe being with Toni changed her negative opinion. "I've been looking for you Jug, I even stopped by your trailer. Where have you been?" Fangs said tapping a glass by the bartender and getting it filled with soda. Great, now I would have to tell them all in front of Cheryl I was living with my girlfriend. "Oh I've been living with Betty to help her out with the baby." I said honestly. "I'm sure he's just there to fuck with Betty." Sweat Pea smirked as he made a gross smile. "Shut it Sweets. He's just trying to help Betty." Toni said making him shut up. "I love it when your a badass." Cheryl whispered to toni while biting her red lips. "You do?" Toni said biting her lip back and leaning in to kiss Cheryl.
