Chapter 27
Lora's POV:
Anna suddenly passed out and fell into my arms. I immediately felt her pulse in case something to happened to her. Her pulse was really fiant, which was not good.
"HELP!" I yelled, immediately people came rushing to our aid.
'People step aside the girl needs air!" I heard my mother's voice from behind a few people, I saw people move aside, to make space for her to pass.
When she got to us, she bent down and looked closely at Anna. I saw her expression harden and I could see sadness in her eyes.
"Mother, what's wrong?" I whispered to her, she just looked at me and shook her head.
Oh no! She can't be! She can't die... I need her!
I felt tears form in my eyes, and fall down my cheek.
"No..." I said in a small vice.
"Lora..."
"NO!" she can't be! She has to be alive!" I cried. Laid Lora on the ground and started doing CPR, pinching her nose together, covering her mouth with mine and blowing air into her. I put my head against her heart; it was starting to beat slower. I put both my hands on her chest, pushing it down, doing it over 5 times.
I did the same thing repeatedly, for at least five times.
"Lora... Please stop." I heard my mother whisper, right then I put my ear against her chest again and didn't hear a heart beat.
"No..." I started to break down.
How can this be! Anna was suppose to live... she was suppose to save us and then gloat about it even though I know she wouldn't. I need her! She was my sister.... my only sister , the only person who understood me and put up with my attitude, the only person that made me smile no matter how moody I was. She was my best friend, my sister, my only family that I had left... and now I lost her. I lost her because of Eviliny.
I looked up into the sky, I saw that it was turning a very light black color, showing signs that the sun would rise soon.
"WHY!" I yelled into the sky, "WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO HER!"
I felt betrayed, Leehann was supposed to watch her, to look over her and make sure she lived. She was the only one that would give but her life for everyone else, and now she's died.
I looked back at Anna, her skin turning into a pale ash color everyone was silent around me, all watching while I broke down, with my sister in my arms.
'Leehann how could you let one of your children die?' I asked internally, hoping for an answer.
"Lora, my children never die." I heard people around me gasp; I just looked over my shoulder.
Standing in the open field behind me was Leehann, she was wearing the same thing she wore in my dream, a pure white sundress, glowing, and she looked like a real Goddess.
"Leehann..." I heard my mom whisper in awe.
I saw Leehann look at my mother, and a small smile spread across her beautiful lips.
I looked back at Anna; she still looked the same, pale and dead. I felt tears silently falling down my cheeks. I felt warmth on my shoulder, and I knew exactly who it was.
"Leehann, why did you let her live." I asked in a small voice, I felt a sob about to come out.
"My child who told you that I let her die..." she said.
