Maddy's POV:

Guests had been driving for hours, I sat upstairs in my sweats and one of Will's old vest that I had adopted. It was still long on me so I tucked it into to the rim of the track suit bottoms.

Finally, grandads car pulled up in the driveway, as did my dads. Out my dad, Mum, Rachel, Will, Ross, Grandad and my grandma.

I climbed off my bed and walked down the stairs to see someone Liam had hired to help out with the party talking to them.

"Dress nice." My Dad quoted, approaching me.

"I said you had to dress nice, not me." I replied. "You wouldn't of got let in if you didn't put on a suit but they can't exactly kick me out, can they?"

"You look beautiful in everything." Will smiled, slinking an arm around me and kissing my cheek.

"Or nothing." Ross shrugged with a smirk, causing everyone to shoot him a scolding glare. "Joking, again, well..."

"He's joking." I said.

"Well I'm not." He laughed.

"Ross, shut up." I said through gritted teeth only causing his grin to grow wider.

"Ignore him," Will said. "I do."

"Then what was with that stern talk about behaving last night?" Ross asked, his smirk still shining bright.

"Enough." I said. "Tonight isn't about any of that."

"Ah, the Kingsley's, what a joy. Will the rest of you not being joining?" Liam asked.

"No, they had better things to do." My Dad replied.

"It's a shame when the life of crime cuts in with your social life, isn't it?" Liam questioned.

"Oi! My boys are no criminals." Rachel spat.

"Whatever you say."

My grandad had noticed the anger spreading across my dads face and Rachel's. "No violence." He spoke up.

"He's right." Liam said. "Tonight is a peace offering, join the party when you like."

"Thank you." Gale said.

"And Maddy, I'd really like it if you put on one of the many dresses I bought you and joined the party?" Liam questioned.

"And I'd like it if you didn't blackmail my family." I retorted.

Liam sighed in frustration before walking back into the large ball room where his party was taking place.

"Smug bastard." Gale commented under her breath.

"Ross, there's a few nice objects in that room." My Dad stated.

"Shame if they went missing." He smirked before the two walked inside, joining the party.

"Please make sure they don't do anything too bad." I sighed at Grandad.

"I'm always watching." He said, offering his arm to my grandma. She linked with him and the two walked inside with my mum and Rachel following.

"Are you coming?" Will asked.

"That's exactly what he wants and I do not intend on giving it him." I replied.

"You're going to miss out on a good time just because of your stubbornness." He scoffed. "I'm surprisingly a good dancer."

"Well with this balloon in between us it wouldn't be much fun." I sighed.

"That my shirt?" He questioned.

"Yeah, sorry. I left in it the other morning, I'll give it back, it's just one of the only things that fit me."

"Keep it, looks better on you anyway." He smiled before pecking my lips. "I'll go keep an eye on Ross."

"Thank you." I smiled. "I love you."

"I love you." He said, our hands separating as he walked into the room. I walked back up the uncomfortably long stair case and back to my room, shutting the door.

Liam wasn't happy which meant I was.
