"I am so sorry about all of this." I said to the family.

Luckily, Ross and Will's Mum was a nurse, she knew what to do to stop the bleeding and how to examine Will.

"Should of seen it coming, getting involved with a Kingsley." Their Mum, Grace, said.

"Mum." Will scolded.

"It's okay." I said. "I bought this here, he wouldn't listen. I am so sorry."

"It's okay." Will said.

"And to you," I said, turning on my chair to face their Dad, John, who stood in the doorway. "I bought this on to your property."

"You can't control your father anymore than he can control you." He said. "It's okay, really."

"So after all this do we at least get to find out who the real Dad is?"

"I told it wouldn't be good for me to tell them." I said. "And you wouldn't know him."

"Try me." Ross said.

"His name is Liam, he went to my old high school, he's friends with Lola and we hooked up at a party."

"How romantic." Grace said in a sarcastic tone, finishing on Will and turning to Ross's slit cheek bone.

"I'm fine." Ross brushed off.

"Ross please, let me check."

"I said I'm fine." He said.

"Ross." I sighed. "Just do as she says."

I stopped hesitating and stood still, giving her a chance to have a brief look at the damage my dad has caused.

* * *

"Feel any better?" I asked Will as he pulled a new shirt over his head and groaned from the damage my dad did on his stomach however I couldn't help notice his perfect body hidden under the bruising that had already come up.

"I guess."

"I'm so sorry Will, he always had a temper." I said. "Which is why I put off telling him but then Ross-"

"Ross? What's Ross got to do with anything?" He questioned.

"Well I cant help but feel like that call out was a little bit of a set up?" I shrugged.

"I'll kill him." He said marching towards the door.

I jumped off the bed and slid under his arm, standing in front of the door. "I don't think you could do much damage right now." I smiled. "I could probably take you."

"Oh really?" He grinned, grabbing my waist with one arm and hoisting me off the ground before carrying me over and dropping me on the bed. His touch caused my body to tingle with excitement.

Will looked down at me before his lips met mine, they were soft and passionate, better than I had imagined. My hand ran through his hair and his tightened around my body as he bought me closer.

"I really am sorry." I sighed after a while, breaking the kiss.

"I'm not." He said. "Because then, we wouldn't be here, doing this."

Once again his lips pricked against mine. "Oh god." Ross exclaimed from the doorway, causing Will to jump off me. "I was going to see if you wanted a ride back to the village but never mind."

"I think I've had enough car rides with you." I said, raising a brow.

"Well I'm heading home in about an hour." He said. "And I doubt hero Will can take you home with all his injuries."

He backed out of the door, pulling it shut after him.

"So, your dad seems lovely." Will scoffed, sitting back on the bed. "He always been like that?"

I nodded. "I get he's trying to protect me in his own, violent and unusual way but I'd rather him just be a normal dad." I said. "You should of seen what he did when he found condoms in my room last year."

"What'd he do?"

I shook my head, dismissing his question. "Let's just say that guy left town the next day with some bad injuries and didn't come back."

"Why'd you put up with him?"

"Because he stayed." I explained. "He may of been an awful and slightly abusive dad but he never left."

"And your mum?"

"She left." I said. "But she came back."

He looked at me, a warm and small smile on his face. "What?" I questioned.

"Nothing." He said.

"What?" I repeated with a laugh.

"I like the way your brain works." He said. "The way you see the world."

"I assure you, there's not much brain in here." I scoffed.

"When did she come back?"

"When I was thirteen, my grandparents thought Tom was becoming an unfit parent after they saw him slap me- he'd found cigarettes in my coat pocket- somehow they talked her into coming back." I explained. "I hated my dad growing up, he was always in and out of jail and I was glad when my mum came back, she had money and showered me with gifts in an attempt to win me back over but it didn't work, but I sure didn't turn away all the stuff she bought me. I was lucky she came back, gave me a place to stay with all the time Dad spent in prison."

"You seem pretty close now?"

"Well us Kingsley's are very close, we always have each other's back. My grandparents hold everyone together." I answered. "But its only been in the last year that I really connected with my parents again."

My phone lit up beside me and music blasted out of it. I glanced over at it, it was my mum. "I should probably answer this." I said.

"Oh sure, yeah, of course."
