"You're Lilli's Dad." I stated, glaring at him with glossy eyes from the tears I was refusing to free. "And I know what it's like to grow up without a parent so I'm not going to let him kill you."
I saw relief fill his eyes.
"You should know I have your phone, I deleted the video and I checked your other chats, you never sent that video to anyone else, you didn't trust them, did you?"
"You're one to talk." He spat, causing my dads grip to tightening on him, causing him obvious amounts of pain.
"I won't watch this!" Grandad protested.
"Then go!" I yelled, turning back to him. "I never asked you to be here."
"You're family!" He argued.
"Mum take grandad outside." I ordered.
"Mad-"
"Now Mum." I yelled.
"Come on." She sighed, leading granddad out. I didn't want grandad to see me like this, whilst Mum was away and Dad was in prison he and Gale practically raised me, they saw me as a good person and I didn't want to change his mind.
The door closed behind them and I turned back to Liam, my eyes darker than dark as I strutted over to him.
I slapped his cheek before tangling my fists with his shirt. "You will never lay a hand on me again." I snapped.
He nodded, he put on a false front filled with confidence as he normally did but I could see behind it; he was terrified.
I released his clothing and stepped back. "Let him go." I ordered.
"What?" Ross questioned, in shock.
"Maddy you can't be serious?" Dad asked.
"I will not have my daughter grow up, never getting the chance to meet her father."
"He's better off without her." Dad said.
"You mean just like Mum thought I was with her?" I questioned. "I trust Lilli will see it herself, then he'll be alone with only himself to blame."
My dad threw Liam to the ground before looking to Ross. "Take Maddy home."
"Dad did you not hear what I just said?" I questioned.
"I did, which is why I promise not to kill him, I'll just hurt him so badly that he wishes I did." He said, crouching beside Liam and taking a hold of his hair.
"Dad!"
"No one hurts my daughter and gets away with it." He snapped.
"I thought you respected my decisions?" I asked.
"I do, the good ones." He replied. "Now if it were down to me I'd kill him, so let's call it a compromise?"
"My cameras will catch everything." Liam said in a panicked tone.
"I think you'll find I cut all power to your cameras before we came inside and if the police come knocking on my door, I'll get my wish." He said to Liam who was shaking. "Ross."
"Come on Mads." Ross sighed, edging me out of the room.
Ross's POV:
"Ross." Tom's voice said in a deep tone. I stopped in the doorway as Maddy kept walking.
"For some reason, she listens to you." He said. "Don't screw this up."
I nodded.
I opened the door wider, stepping a food out before retrieving it and looking back into the room. "Make sure he pays for what he did."
