"I have a surprise." I grinned, looking across the table at my dad.

"If this is anything like the last, I don't want to hear it." He replied, finishing his burger and wiping his hands on the napkin.

"No, it's good." I said before sipping my drink. "So do you want to know?"

"Do you think I'd be pulling this face of integument if I didn't?" He asked.

"Oh that's what that was, it's kind of similar to your I want to kill everyone face."

"When do I wear that one?" He questioned.

"Pretty much everyday." I scoffed, placing my knife and fork on the plate. "And the news is that I'm moving back into my place tomorrow."

"What?" He questioned, his eyes widening as he put his pint of beer down.

"I finally managed to convince Liam it would work with the shared custody and I barely unpacked when I moved in." I shrugged.

Will walked back from the bathroom, shooting me a wink as he made his way back over to the table he and Ross were sat at. I felt my cheek blush slightly and an unwilling smile spread across my lips.

"There you are!" Mum exclaimed, slamming her hands down on the table and glaring at me which immediately snapped me out of my lust for Will. "I've been calling you."

"You have?" I questioned, digging through my bag and pulling out my phone to see it wasn't actually mine. "And of course, I picked up Liam's."

"How do you make that mistake?" Dad asked in a tired tone.

"Same phone, similar case, in a rush?" I questioned. "Pick one."

"Alright." He said in a defensive tone, finishing up his side salad and pushing the plate away.

A messages popped up on the screen as I was putting it back, I knew I shouldn't of read it but I couldn't help glancing at the name at least, I saw it was from Lola.

Lola: Lost my key, come let me in? xx

My jaw dropped, literally. I opened his phone, his password was his mother's name, he was such a suck up to her I wasn't suppose, it's like the more love he gave her to more money she gave him.

I opened their messages to one another:

Lola: I enjoyed today. Shame you had to leave early x
Me: Maddy was coming home with Lilli, could hardly have her walk in on us babe x
Lola: I know x
Me: Was that new underwear? x

I continued to read more of the disturbing messages of my best friend's betrayal before dropping the phone down, my eyes staring at it in horror.

"Maddy?" Dad questioned.

"Babe, what's wrong?" Mum asked.

"Look yourself." I said, pushing the phone over to them.

They scrambled over the phone before my dad won and my mum looked over his shoulder, their eyes scanned over the messages whilst I just stared forward, my thoughts dark.

"I've wanted to kill that guy for a long time now, here's the perfect excuse." Dad said, standing up and tucking the phone in his back pocket.

"Whoa, I hope I heard that wrong." Ian said.

"Not now Ian." Mum said.

"No one is leaving this pub until I've got an explanation on what's going on." He said as I just glared forward at the empty seat my dad sat in seconds ago.

"Liam's been getting it with her bezzie mate Lola." Mum said.

"So I'm going to kill them both." Dad said.

"No Dad." I finally snapped, standing up.

"We can't let him get away with this." Dad argued.

"Or her!" Mum added.

"Do you hear me arguing?" I asked. "I was going to say leave Lola to me."

"Come on now, violence is never the answer." Ian said as the three of us turned to leave.

"Maybe that's why you get walked all over." Dad snapped.

"Tom-"

"Grandad we're going so move out of the way!" I exclaimed.

He didn't move, holding his ground which was a bold but dangerous move right now. Tom reached over, balling his fist in his dads jacket, moving him aside so the three of us could pass.

I heard chairs scrape across the ground as Will and Ross got up, following us out.
