We stormed into the car park, towards my car. My dad unlocked his jeep, pulling out a crow bar before slamming the door and locking his car again.

"What's going on? Are you okay?" Will questioned, standing in front of me and placing a hand on my arm.

"I know you respect me, so you'll listen to me when I ask you to stay here." I said, pulling his hand off me and intertwining our fingers.

"Just don't do anything stupid, anything you'll regret." He said in a worried tone, squeezing my hand.

"Trust me, I won't regret anything." I stated in a bold voice before walking past him and closer to my car.

I tugged on the handle of my door, it opened an inch before slamming shut as Ross leans against it.

"You really don't want to get in my way right now." I growled.

"Why are the Kingsley's going people hunting this time?" He asked with a smirk.

"Move." I ordered, raising a hand.

"Don't even think about it." He warned, grabbing my wrist.

"Am I going to have to move you?" My dad spat.

Ross stepped back. "If you don't tell me I'll follow."

"I don't care what you do Ross." I snapped, climbing into my car and slamming the door.

Ross's POV:

Maddy drove off, both her parents in the car, her grandad in the back: he told Will he'd try to keep the peace.

I ran to my car, opening the door. "Ross don't, this doesn't concern you." Will said, preventing me from shutting the door.

"Are you coming?" I asked.

"No and you shouldn't either." He argued.

"Shes your girlfriend." I said.

"Exactly and she asked me to stay, which is what I'm going to do."

"There's where you and I differ brother." I said, pulling the door shut and forcing him to step out of the way. "I'll be there for her even when she doesn't want me to be."

Maddy's POV:

We pulled up outside, Ross on our tail as he pulled up right behind us but none of us had time to care. Our anger consumed us.

I snatched the crowbar from my dads hands, swinging it at Lola's car window, shattering it on to the front seat before handing it back to my dad.

Storming up the driveway, I slammed my fist heavily on the door but no answer.

"Don't you have a key?" Mum asked.

"In my bag, which I left in the pub." I replied.

My dad stepped forward, shoving the crowbar into the door and forcing it open, he knew exactly what he was doing- this was hardly his first time breaking and entering.

I noticed the lights on upstairs when we were stood outside so we marched up.

I knew where his room was from that night I regretted. The only sound was our heavy footsteps and enraged deep breathing.

I shoved the door open to see the two of them sat on the bed, making out- made me sick.

"Maddy!" Lola exclaimed.

My dad stormed around me, grabbing Liam by the collar on his shirt and slamming him against the wall.

"So come on," I spat at Lola. "Why have you been sleeping with the father of my child, my ex, the man who blackmailed my family and abused me!"

"Abuse?" My Dad questioned in a further angered tone.

"I told you what he did to me, pushed me around, slapped me, and yet you still choose to sleep with him?"

"He did what?" Ross questioned from beside my grandad.

A thud sounded through the silent room and a groan from Liam's mouth followed, I looked back my dad had punched him in the gut.

"Your silence is deafening." I said to Lola.

"I never meant to hurt you." She said in a low voice.

"You liar!" I yelled, slapping her face. Tears filled her eyes and she looked back to me. "So this is why you've been avoiding me recently?"

"I am so sorry." She said.

"No, you're sorry you got caught." I hissed.

"No, I never meant for this to happen-"

"Stop lying!" I yelled, throwing my fists down on her in s pummelling motion as she blocked them with her arms.

Liam flinched under my dad, trying to escape his grip to save Lola.

"You step near Maddy and I'll break both your legs." Ross growled, his voice closer to them.

"You're not the boyfriend?" He questioned. "The brother, that's right, so-"

This time, Ross was the one who fired a punch at Liam, striking him in the face and causing blood to trickle from his nose. "We'll have that conversation another time, ay?" Ross questioned, leaning against the wall beside him.

"Enough! Now, we're going to let the girl say what she came her to say." Grandad said, trying to play peace maker as usual. "Alright?!"

"Fine." Mum sighed, crossing her arms.

"Fine." Dad huffed, releasing his grip slightly on Liam.

"Do you love him?" I asked her. "I understand if he loves you because I love you: you're always there for me, always honest with me, my best friend, or so I thought."

Her breathing hitched, I could tell my words hurt her and a tear streamed down her cheek.

"So why do you love him? After everything he did to me and my family." I asked.

"I don't." She said, looking up. "Neither of us do, it's just a little fun."

"Oh." I said with a sick grin on my face. "Well I'm glad your betrayal was only for fun! Not like it meant anything, right?"

"Maddy I'm sorry!"

"No I'm sorry! Sorry I wasted six years on a friendship you threw away for a little fun!" I shouted over her.

"What else do you want me to say?" She asked in a low voice.

"Nothing." I replied. "Because I'm done with you now, forever."

I reached out, grabbing her shirt and pulling her face closer to mine. "You got me through some tough times growing up, so I'm gonna let you go this time but if I ever see you again, you'll wish you were never born." I whispered before releasing her.

Her body trembled. "Go!" I boomed and she ran faster than I thought possible out of the door.

"What about him?" Mum asked, looking over at Liam.
