I rubbed my eyes, waking up from my nap and plodding down the stairs.

I entered the party, grabbing the attention of many. Clearly, Liam had been talking about me or they were super pissed about my outfit. "Relax, I'm just getting a drink." I said to the old lady watching my every move.

I walked through the oversized room and people soon went back to their conversations. Suddenly, I felt someone press against me from behind and the spicy aftershave told me it was Ross.

"Ross." I squirmed.

"Relax I'm actually trying to help for once." He said.

"Are you drunk again?" I questioned as he walked me over to the side of the room.

He released me, quickly spinning me around so my body was against the wall and I was looking up at him. "Pregnant women loose control of their bladder or something?" He questioned.

"What are you talking about?" I asked. My stomach hardened and I got a rush of pain in my lower back.

"Ah." I gasped, hunching over slightly and gripping Ross's wrist.

"What! Are you okay?" He questioned.

"I didn't wee myself Ross, my water must've broke in my sleep." I said, fear running through my veins.

"Didn't it wake you!" He exclaimed.

"I haven't slept in nights, a hurricane couldn't of woken me." I snapped. "Ross it hurts."

"I can tell." He said, looking down at his wrist which I was crippling. "Will!"

Will looked over from the corner of the room where he was stood with my grandparents. Seeing my face he instantly set his glass down and charged over, Ian and Gale following worried behind him.

"Are you okay? What's going on?" Will asked, taking my hand.

"Grandad get Dad." I ordered, the pain had stopped but my worry didn't.

"What's happening?" Gale asked.

"She's gone into labour, can't you tell!" Ross exclaimed, seeming more scared than I was.

"Ross it's okay, I'll be fine." I said.

"Fine means not fine, remember?" He questioned.

"Not this time." I said. "I need to sit down."

"You need to get to the hospital." Will said.

"The hospital." I said out loud, my breathing hitching. My mind raced, at first it felt like apart of the pregnancy but I suddenly came to the conclusion I was about to have a baby.

I had just come to terms with my pregnancy, I couldn't have a baby!

"I take it back, I'm not okay." I said, pushing off the wall and past everyone surrounding me. My breathing deepened and the people around me began to blur.

"Maddy, everything is going to be okay." Will said, taking my hands in his.

"No it's not Will, I can't do this! I'm not even eighteen yet!" I exclaimed. The people around me came into focus, my grandparents and Liam were clearing the room.

"Dad, I can't." I said, turning to the toughest man I knew to see tears in his eyes.

"Yes you can." He said. "We need to get you to the hospital."

"Ambulance is already called." My mum said. "Only a few minutes now."

"Tell me, how much does it hurt and be honest!" I demanded.

"Babe, it hurts a little but there's loads of medication, you're so strong, you've got this easy." My mum replied.

I walked over to one of the chairs that had been left untucked from a table with the rush to get everyone out.

Another contraction took its course, it felt like a gripping pain- like when you have the runs- but a million times worse.

Will crouched beside me, holding my hand. "Just breathe."

"How about, shove a human out of you and I'll tell you to breathe!" I exclaimed.

"Babe, good news. You're water broke first right?" My mum asked.

I nodded.

"That's what happened with me and you, my labour was only a few hours long."

"But when I had Josh and Mason, my contractions started first and my labour was over fifteen hours with both." Rachel stated.

"And my contractions were only nine minutes apart at the start, yours are six." My mum added.

"See Mads, this'll be over before you know it." Ross said, pulling out the chair opposite me and sitting down.

"Shut up Ross." I demanded.

"Millions of women do it a day, you're nothing special." Liam said.

"Drop dead." I scolded, hearing the ambulance pull up outside which granted me relief.
