It was a long walk, at pagkatapos naming maglakad ng malayo ay sumakay pa kami ng sasakyan, which is umabot pa ng kinse minutos bago kami makarating sa pinaka sentro ng pack kung saan ang lokasyon ng 'bahay' ng Alpha.

Ang gara ng pamumuhay nila rito, it's so different from where I grew up, these b*tches grew up with a silver spoon in their mouth not giving a fvck if other people's starving and eventually dying because of it.

Hawak ako ng nakahuli sakin ng mahigpit sa braso, as if may pag-asa pa akong makatakas dito. Napapalibutan ang bahay ng Alpha ng mga matataas, makakapal at matitibay na pader at napapalibutan din ito ng mga sundalo ng Alpha. 'Oh ano? Papalag ka pa Astrid?'

Nagulat ako ng bigla kaming huminto sa pinaka pintuan ng mansyon ng Alpha, yes iba pa ang gate nila na gawa sa bakal, sabi nila it's supposed to give off that 'intimidating vibe' and I can see that it's doing its job pretty well.

The door has a very sleek and classy design on it, halatang hindi basta-basta.

Hinarap ako ng captor ko sa kanya.

"Don't talk unless given permission to, don't look at anyone, don't even breathe in the wrong direction, got it?" I gulped at what he said, wala naman sigurong mawawala kung susunod ako diba? Kaysa naman mapahamak ako.

Unti-unti akong tumango.

"If you behave like a good pup, you might even get lucky and the Alpha might even spare you and make you into one of his love slaves." He said while looking darkly at me. Wow this guy's a perv! I sure as hell don't want to be taken against my will, I'd rather die thanks for the offer anyway.

"I'm not interested, but thank you though." Then I made one of my fake smiles.

"What a mouth you got there!" I. hope. you. rot. in. hell!

Instead of saying that, I again just faked a smile at him even though I was itching to roll my eyes at him.

"Anyway the name is Beta Colton Ranay, nice to meet you hot-assed thief," Well nice to meet you too thirsty ass prick!

Even though I really want to reply that to him, I feel like I'm not really in the position to.

So anyway, Siya ang Beta dito? Kaya pala kahit na ganyan ang ugali nya ay malakas sya at hindi pangkaraniwan ang laki ng wolf nya. Nagtatakha siguro kayo kung bakit di 'ko kilala ang Beta namin, simple lang nag-retire kasi ang dating Beta at kakatalaga lang siguro nila dito. At kung bakit di ako updated? Kasi wala akong panahon sa bagay na iyon, busy ako sa paghahanap ng pagkain para sa pamilya ko.

"And what's your name pretty girl?" Really is he really hitting on me right now? Pretty Girl? I basically look like someone who hasn't bathe in like 3 years and I know I'm smelly *don't even quote me on that shit* Now he's calling me pretty girl!

But I decided to answer him anyway. "Astrid." Tipid kong sagot.

"Hmmm Astrid." Turan nito na tila nilalasahan ang pangalan ko sa kanyang labi. Well, It's not like I felt anything when he said my name. The only thing I felt is disgust.

Pagkatapos nyang sabihin iyon ay ngumiti sya ng nakakaloko sakin tsaka ako biglang hinila papasok sa loob ng mansyon.

'This is it... there's no going back now,' I said to myself. I heaved a sigh, quietly praying for my safety.
