Astrid flew to Diagon Alley and saw two kids walking out of a shop, carrying things that looked like what was on their list. She landed next to the shop and asked the bartender for help. He help her without question, even when Stormfly came in. It took a few hours to find everything, the place was so big, but finally Astrid flew back Berk and landed. She figured that Hiccup would in the armory, making the cauldrons. She was right, Hiccup was in the armory, but the cauldrons were already done. Toothless was trying to figure out what the cauldrons were and what they were for. As soon as Hiccup saw her, he sprang to his feet, or his foot and peg leg, and said, "Good. You're back. If you weren't back before nightfall, I don't know what I would have told my father."
"You could have just told him that Stormfly and I just went for an evening flight."
"True." Hiccup admitted. "But that's not the point." "Were you able to get everything?"
"I was able to get everything but your wand. You have to get that yourself." Astrid replied.
"Then here's the plan. On September first, we leave before sunrise and go to Diagon Alley to get my wand. After that, we fly to the train station to find Platform Nine and Three Quarters. Then we get on the train and go to Hogwarts." Hiccup stated.
"That's a great plan, Hiccup. But are you sure that we won't get caught?" Astrid said.
"No, we won't get caught, and doyou think they will let us have Toothless and Stormfly with us at Hogwarts?" Hiccup inquired.
"I think so. The wizards and witches freaked out at first when I got there, but they realized that Stormfly is trained and friendly so they didn't kill her. Some of them even petted her."
"All right, then. Toothless can ride on top of the train and Stormfly can fly behind the train or on top with Toothless."
Hiccup and Astrid spent the next few weeks talking and planning more elaborately in secret.
***************************************************************
They met at the training center early in the morning on September first to make sure that they had everything. They flew off as the black sky began to turn pink.
They stopped in Diagon Alley to get Hiccup's wand and then they flew onward to the train station. They were at least half an hour early.
"I think that we walk through that brick support right there." Astrid said, pointing at the pillar between platforms Nine and Ten. They ran through it and straight onto the driver of the train.v
"Sir, can our dragons rise on top of the train?" Hiccup asked. The driver of the train looked at Toothless and Stormfly and asked if they were friendly. Finally he allowed them to ride on the top of the train once he knew would not harm anyone. Hiccup and Astrid climbed on the rapidly filling train and found an empty compartment. They singled to the dragons where they were and they hopped on top of the train right above them.
Hiccup pulled out Hogwarts: A History to find out more about Hogwarts they were going to. Astrid had been sitting across from him and jumped seats to sit next to him and read with him.
"Read out loud." Astrid ordered Hiccup as she put her head on his shoulder. "Wait, what language is that?" Astrid's question went unanswered, however, because Hiccup had already started reading.
Right after that, a white-haired, blue-eyed boy and a blue green-eyed girl with blond hair trailing to the floor opened the door and asked if they could sit.
"I think I've seen them before." Astrid thought before she realized that she had seen them, in Diagon Alley.
Astrid and Hiccup looked up at them. "Astrid, what do you think?" Hiccup asked Astrid, looking down at her.
"They can sit with us, Hiccup." Astrid replied, resting her head on Hiccup's shoulder again.
"Come on in and take a seat." Hiccup said.
"What are your names?" Astrid inquired.
"I'm Jack Frost. And this is -Jack answered.
" -Rapunazel. Thanks so much for letting us sit." Rapunazel finished, sending Jack a glare that said "I can speak for myself."
"The ceiling is enchanted to look like the time of day and season." Hiccup read.
"What?" Jack asked.
"The ceiling is enchanted." Hiccup replied.
"Where is the ceiling enchanted?" Jack demanded. The girls, who were just watching and listening, could tell that Hiccup was enjoying making Jack bewildered.
"The ceiling at Hogwarts is enchanted." Hiccup informed Jack.
"You know what?" Rapunazel said, looking at everyone. "I think we'd make great friends."
"Yeah, we probably would." Hiccup agreed.
Then the train jerked to a stop and Pitch stepped into their compartment and said "Nightmares, attack!"
Everything want black.
Rapunazel saw Jack leaving her, not being in love with her like she'd hoped. She needed someone to rescue her from her tower prison, and she thought that Jack would.
Hiccup saw Toothless dying, Astrid dying, and Astrid marrying Tuffnut. Then he thought "None of this is real. It is all a dream. A horrible dream, but, yes, a dream. Wake up, wake up and fight."
Astrid saw Stormfly dying, Hiccup dying for real this time, Hiccup hating her, Hiccup marrying Ruffnut and looking very happy and Hiccup saying,"Wake up, Astrid! Please don't be dead. Wake up, please, Astrid, I love you."
"Jack!" Hiccup exclaimed as he woke up and looked around.
"Hiccup, wake up the girls and get them to safety. I've got Pitch."
Hiccup saw Rapunazel move, so he woke her up first.
"Climb out the window. Toothless and Stormfly will take care of you!" Hiccup said to Rapunazel.
Then he went to wake up Astrid. She wasn't moving. Hiccup shook Astrid and said "Wake up Astrid! Please don't be dead. Wake up, please, Astrid, I love you." That did the trick. When Astrid heard Hiccup say I love you, she woke up and kissed him.
"Come on Astrid! We have to get to the roof! We'll be safe there!"
They climbed up to the roof and sat under Toothless' wings.
Then Jack called out "It's safe to come down now! Pitch is gone." Rapunazel climbed back into the train.
"I saw you hating me and dying, Hiccup. I saw you marrying Ruffnut." "It was horrible!" Astrid told Hiccup with tears streaming down her face.
"I saw you dying and marrying Tuffnut. Astrid, I would never leave you. I have loved you my whole life. That isn't ever going to change." Hiccup reassured her.
Jack looked out the window and saw this whole conversation. He then went back inside to wait for them to come in.
"Thanks for saving us Jack." Rapunazel whispered shyly and then she kissed him.
"The train has started moving again, so we should probably go back inside." Hiccup said.
"And miss this?" Astrid replied, kissing him.
They went inside and talked about what they thought Hogwarts was going to be like for the rest of the train ride.
