A giant named Hagrid led them to the doors of the Great Hall. They were then left alone with all of the other first years, which was probably a bad idea. "Jack! I don't think you're supposed to be doing that!" Rapunazel hissed as Jack eased the doors to the Great Hall open. They saw a magnificent room with piles of food on the tables.
"It smells so good." Jack murmured, easing the doors closed. Rapunazel shook her fist at Jack while whisper-yelling at him: "Be glad you weren't caught! You could have gotten in trouble!"
Jack just ignored her and turned to Hiccup.
"I saw you talking to the giant." Jack said.
"He just said that our dragons would be taken care of." Hiccup replied in a low voice.
Then Rapunazel punched Jack, saying, "That's for ignoring me and opening the doors."
"Who told you to punch me?" Jack asked, rubbing his arm.
"Astrid." was Rapunazel's reply.
"It's what I do to Hiccup and the other kids my age that live on Berk." Astrid said with a smile.
