Chapter 25: Christmas Time

Well, this is a major time skip, but I can't think of anything until around now, so yeah.

(Astrid's POV)

Hiccup and I are waiting for Rap and Jack in the Great Hall. We ware planning on taking a walk around the grounds since the snow only just started to fall,and I'm pretty sure that in just a couple of weeks it will be to cold to be outside for all of us but Jack. Since he's Jack Frost, he doesn't get cold. Right now the Great Hall is covered in frost, and there are pine trees everywhere. Hiccup and I are sitting by one of them, near the door, and I have to resist the urge to kiss him. I'm so confused right now. I know that earlier this year I had a crush on him, but I can't have fallen in love with him. I mean, we're only eleven. When Rap finally showed up about ten minutes later I made her sit between Hiccup and I.

"Are you two fighting or something?" Rap looked between the two of us, worried.

"Not that I know of." Hiccup's voice was cold. Maybe he's mad at me for some reason? I don't know, which is weird, because usually I know exactly

"Ok then." Rap didn't sound completely convinced.

"All right, let's get going." Jack said as he walked up. The trees and grass were lightly frosted and sparkling in the sunlight. It took about an hour to walk the entire grounds, and afterwards Rap dragged Jack over to look at the lake. I started walking towards the castle, and Hiccup kept trying to talk to me, but I ignored him. I just can't talk to him right now.

(Hiccup's POV)

Astrid isn't talking to me, and I have no idea why. I have something very important to tell her, but I can't tell her if she won't talk to me, so I'll have to get her attention some other way. I have no idea how, but I guess I'll figure something out.

(Astrid's POV)

Hiccup was silent for a few minutes, but when we came to an empty classroom with the door open, Hiccup wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me in, carefully shutting the door behind him. Then he was kissing me, his mouth hard on mine at first but then softer. I deepened the kiss before I remembered that I'm trying to stop myself from falling in love with Hiccup. I know now that he loves me, just like I had hoped, but I have to stop myself or..."Or what though?" I find myself thinking. "My parents being mad at me? I really don't know." But I was already pulling away.

"I'm sorry Hiccup." I whispered as I left a shocked and heartbroken Hiccup alone.

"What did you do to Hiccup!? He's been in there for almost the entire day now, and he won't come out!" Rap yelled at me.

"According to Hiccup, you kind of dumped him, and you two weren't even dating." Jack said. Hiccup has been in his room since he came in. Jack and Rap found him standing in the corridor, staring after me, even though he couldn't see me. I think, well actually I know, that I've ruined his life. But what can I do to fix it?

(Astrid_Jackson's POV)

Hey peeps! Sorry about not updating in a long time, but I've had major writers block. I dint have any ideas right now, so this book is on hold until I get some or someone suggests some.
