The New Big Four In Hogwarts

Chapter Twelve: Realization

Astrid was aware of Jack and Rapunazel taking her to the Common Room, telling her that Hiccup would be fine. She hoped that the teachers would find the Snitch in Hiccup's hand.

"He caught the Snitch." Professor Malfoy thought as she found it. She set it to the side for now. Later they could know about Gryffindor's win.

Hiccup was severely injured. His metal leg needed to be remade. It was all burnt up. He had burn marks on his legs, arms, and chest.

Astrid wanted to see Hiccup right away, but Jack had froze her feet to the floor in the boys dorm. She yelled at Jack to let her go, and started crying.

"I'll let you go when we can see Hiccup." That shut Astrid up.

"Why do I feel like there's an empty hole inside of me? Why do I feel so weird? Ruffnut told me that when she wasn't around Fishlegs, there was an empty hole inside of her, and it turned out that she had fallen in love. Is that it? Have I fallen in love with Hiccup?" Astrid thought, asking herself questions as she realized that she had fallen in love with Hiccup.

Hiccup was dreaming weird dreams. He dreamed that he was back on Berk, and that he was chief, and Astrid was his wife, and his mom was there, and Dad was dead. He had another dream, that Dad was beating him for going to Hogwarts, and Astrid was telling him to stop and then she took out her wand and used 'Petrificus Totalus' on Stoick. Then she got Hiccup on Toothless while his dad shouted threats.

Jack unfroze Astrid's feet and Rapunazel took her to the girls dorm that way they could go to bed. She said "Astrid, get into the hot tub. I'll be there in a minute." So Astrid put on her swim suit and climbed in the hot tub. Rapunazel climbed in after her.

"Rapunazel, I think I love Hiccup." Astrid said, out of the blue.

"That's great Astrid! Does he love you?" Rapunazel squealed.

"Yes. He told me so on top of the train." Astrid answered.

"That's good." Rapunazel said.

"I just want to see him and know for sure that he's okay." Astrid said in a small voice as she began to cry.
