They had their new schedules and on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays they had a free period to do homework and stuff. On Tuesdays and Thursdays they had a class of their choice. For Tuesdays they had chosen Transfiguration. They hadn't decided about Thursdays yet.
"We should take Potions or DADA." Hiccup said.
"DADA." Astrid said. "We already have double Potions three days a week." So they were going to have DADA on Thursdays. It was Friday, and this was during their free period. They went to Professor Potter, Head of Gryffindor House, Transfiguration teacher and Headmistress of Hogwarts. She wrote down their choices and handed them their new schedules.
"Because you are the first ones to turn your choices in, everyone in Gryffindor will have this schedule." Professor Potter* told them. "Have you all caught up on your homework?"
"Yes." Hiccup said quietly.
"Good. Hiccup, Astrid, you two get some rest and eat a good dinner and breakfast. You're playing Ravenclaw in tomorrow's match." Professor Potter said as she sent them on their way.
After dinner, Hiccup and Astrid went to bed so they would be well rested for the match. Hiccup actually ate breakfast without being forced to.
They were in the middle of the match when a storm started brewing. Everyone ignored it and watched the match. A few minutes later, Hiccup was hit by lighting. His metal leg had been struck and it had spread up his body. He fell off of his broom. Amalia Lucas, the Keeper, flew to get it while Astrid caught Hiccup before he hit the ground. All of the professors came rushing over, including Professor Wressell, Head of Ravenclaw. They took Hiccup to the Hospital Wing and Jack and Rapunazel almost had to carry Astrid to the Common Room, she was so upset.
