Chapter Nine: Quidditch

Hiccup and Astrid had practice on Sunday, because they had to learn how to play Quidditch, of course. There was a game on Saturday, so they got to meet the rest of the team on Monday for practice. During practice, Hiccup found the Golden Snitch in five minutes and Astrid was a great Beater. Probably because she liked to beat people and things up.

On Saturday, Hiccup was so nervous that he wouldn't eat anything. Finally Astrid got him to eat by telling him that she was nervous too but was eating to be able to play well. The game started soon after and within 2 minutes Gryffindor was up 10-0. Hiccup spotted the Snitch and went after it. He caught it and try game was over. It had only been 4 minutes since the game started. Gryffindor won 160-0. Everyone in Gryffindor House were congratulating Hiccup and Astrid on a well-played and won first game. Jack had gone to the kitchen and got some food. When the party was over, which wasn't until after dinner, Astrid and Rapunazel come to the boys dorm for a few minutes to talk before bed.

"You two did really well today." Rapunazel said.

"Yeah." Jack agreed.

"It was really all because of Hiccup that we won." Astrid said, punching Hiccup.

"Ow!" Hiccup yelped.

"That's for ignoring me at the party." Astrid said, smirking. Then she kissed Hiccup on the cheek.

"And that's for winning the game." Astrid told him. She and Rapunazel left to go to bed.
