SAEKO
I quietly yawn habang nakikinig kay Professor Harmonie.
"Prepare yourselves because will be there in just an hour," pakantang inform nito sa amin habang may pakumpas-kumpas pa siyang nalalaman. To be honest, there's no wrong in singing. But listening to Professor Harmonie's high-pitched voice, somehow, it's kinda annoying to hear.
I just rolled my eyes at ipinagpatuloy na lamang ang paglalakad. According to her, magkakaroon daw muna ng briefing dahil bubuo raw kami ng choir para sa nalalapit na mga events dito sa loob ng Olympus. that'll serve us our performance task and entry namin as a whole section. Speaking of pressured, there's one thing in mind that hates the most.
And that's singing.
We're Alphas. The descendants of the major deities. We supposedly doing some cool stuffs like training or killing monsters. Not singing and forming a choir. I want the real thing. Bullshit!
Ughk, if only I could slit their necks one by one. Maybe magkakaroon ako ng peace of mind.
"Fuck it. It's so hot," muttered the fish guy bago ito nagpaypay gamit ang mga daliri notong dikit-dikit ang balat sa gitna. The hell are those?
"As for our new lesson, let me give you a short but not specific background details that you must know before we go on to the next major thing," she started singing again. I sighed in frustration.
Here we go again..
"A Greek chrous, or simply chorus in the context pf Ancient Greek tragedy, comedy, satyr plays, and modern works inspired by them, is a homogenous, non-individualised group of performers, who comment with a collective voice on dramatic action," she sang in tune.
Seriously? Talaga bang ganito siya? Kahit sa pagtuturo niya ay kumakanta siya? What the-
"The chorus consisted of between 12 and 50 players, who variously danced, sang or spoke their lines in unison and sometimes wore masks," she explained. "But in our case, let's remove the 12 and 50 player rules."
