It was the day of the wedding and the second last day in Hawaii, we were up at the crack of dawn so we could shower and eat before getting ready for the day.

"Red or silver?" Sarah asked holding up two stunning dresses.

"I'll wear the red since you look way better in silver than I do" I smiled.

"Yay, I was hoping you would go with red" she giggled placing the dress next to me on the bed.

I decided to go with a dark red and black smoky eye and a dark red lip. My makeup took longer than usual to do but finally I was ready to start in my hair. I looked at my long dark curls in the mirror and thought for a short moment trying to decided what to do. I decided against straightening it and simply ran my fingers through my hair to give it some volume.

I was waiting with my zipper undone waiting for Sarah to come out of the bathroom, she had been in there an awfully long time but I just watched the door, waiting patiently. A few moments later the door swung open and Sarah was standing there, her beautiful locks in a loose curly bun, a beautiful smoky eye with big lashes and and a dark nude lip. I tried to speak but I was so stunned by this beauty standing in front of me that no words would come out.

She giggled sweetly and walked over to where u was sitting. She reached her arms around my neck, I thought she was going in for a hug but she zipped my dress and pushed her soft lips against mine. My breathe caught in my throat for a moment and my cheeks got warm.

"You look stunning" I smiled up at her.

Her silver dress hugged her curved in all the right places, her make up was on point and her silver heels were and clutch tied the whole outfit together.

Her cheeks grew red and she got all shy. I've never seen her act like this.

The phone in the room rang, the voice on the other end informed us the car was here.

"Is that the car?" She asked before I had even hung up.

I nodded, grabbed my bag and we left.

The ceremony was only a short drive from the hotel. I got out of the car and reached my hand out for Sarah to grab. We walked into the building and and found our seats.

The sound of the piano filled the air and everyone collectively turned in their seats to watch the bride and her father walk down the aisle.

The brides stress was absolutely stunning, the white lace dress clung to her body and showed off her petite figure. I kept looking back and forth between the bride and groom and she made her way down the aisle, the way he looked at her with loved filled eyes warmed my heart. In that moment I was truely honoured to be able to witness this act of love.

After the ceremony everyone piled out of the building and headed over to the reception hall.

Entering the reception hall, everything was set up beautifully, lots of baby blue and white decorations. Everyone was moving around from table to table trying to find their names. Finally Sarah and I found out seats fairly quickly and sat down to watch the rest of the guests find theirs.

Shortly after everyone was seated, the waiters bring out drinks and our meals. Sarah and I both chose the different options so we didn't have to decide.

After we ate we danced and laughed and talked until it came time for the bride to throw the bouquet. Sarah and I shuffled to the side, I wasn't really interested in catching the bouquet but before I knew it the beautiful flowers had landed straight into Sarah's hand, she kissed my cheek and raised her hand in the air. We both laughed nervously as everyone clapped and cheered for us.

"Looks like we'll be getting married next" she let out a nervous giggle.

I smiled at her as we walked over to the group of people surrounding the bride and groom as they cut into the massive cake. It was stunning and was moist and not too sweet.

We continued to drink and mingle well after the bride and groom left.

It was dark by the time we stumbled back into our hotel room. I kicked off my black strapped heels and got out of my dress. I sighed as I threw my hair into a ponytail and went into the bathroom to remove the makeup.

By the time I finished and returned to the room Sarah had fallen asleep. I laughed as I removed her shoes which she hadn't had the chance to remove. I climbed into the bed next to her and almost instantly fell asleep.
