Keeping you a secret

Chapter Five

I woke up at 8am to the sound of my alarm ringing in my ears. I sleepily climbed out of bed, making my way towards the shower. I stripped out of my clothes and stood under the water. I scrubbed what was left of my make up from last night off.

After about fifteen minutes I got out of the shower, wrapped the towel around my body and went into the room. I noticed my phone was ringing, it was Sarah.

"Hey" I said yawning.

"Hey, I'm going to be a little late" she said.

"Okay, text me when you're here" I replied, smiling at the fact I could order breakfast.

"See you" she said hanging up the phone.

I grabbed the hotel phone and called room service. After placing the order I dropped my towel and put on a deep purple bikini, before slipping on a pair of denim high waisted shorts and a baby blue see through shirt.

"Room service" someone said knocking at the door.

I opened the door, the guy handed me my food and I handed him a $20 tip. A smile came across his face as I placed the bill in his hand.

"Thank you" he smiled.

"You're welcome" I returned the smile.

I deeply enjoy sharing my fortune with people, giving them large tips, or even just donating to charity, it fills my heart with joy to know I'm doing nice things. That's the impression I choose to leave on this world.

My phone buzzed and Sarah's name came across the screen I put the last bit of food in my mouth, grabbed my towel and bag, slipped on my flack flats and headed out the door locking it behind me.

"Hey" I say opening her car door.

"Hey, sorry I'm late I woke up later than planned" she smiled flashing her pearly white teeth.

"It's fine" I said returning the smile.

They way there was spent mostly listening quietly to the radio until the song cool kids by Echosmith came on, without saying a word we both glance at each other than on cue with both start belting out the words.

The song had just finished as we pulled into the car park. We grabbed our stuff and we headed towards the entrance.

"How many?" The woman behind the counter asks.

"Two adults" I smile handing her the money.

She handed us the tickets and we entered the park. As I stepped through the gate the smell of park food filled the air, the sound if the screaming people on the rides made me smile.

Sarah grabbed my hand and dragged me towards some lockers outside of the ladies toilets. I put my stuff into one of the lockers, took off my shorts and shirt throwing them in.

I felt somewhat exposed standing there in just a bikini and a pair of thongs that I threw on. The hot summer breeze hit my body sending chills down my spine.

"Let's go" Sarah once again dragging me off.

Her white bikini complemented her tan skin perfectly.

The day went by quickly as we went on ride after ride and before we knew it was nearly closing time. We headed towards the lockers. I opened it up, grabbed my stuff and went into the bathroom to change. Sarah followed closely behind.

I dried off my body as quickly as possible before throwing my clothes back on and changing my shoes. I swung my bag over my shoulder, grabbed my towel and thongs before heading towards the door where Sarah was already standing.

"How about we go get some McDonalds and go sit on the beach?" She asked.

Watching the sun set at the beach was becoming our thing.

"Sounds great" I smiled.

We found a McDonalds, going through the drive through we ordered our dinner before driving a couple of minutes to the beach.

When we arrived we say on a bench in front of her car and ate our food as we watched the sky in silence as it changed from pink to deep purple. When the moon came up I finally broke my gaze and looked at Sarah, the light from the moon made her green eyes shine. I could see so many emotions in her eyes all appearing to be some sort of happiness.

I saw a smile grow on her face. She look beautiful. I held her chin gently between my fingers, tilting her head up, I kissed her lips gently.

I grabbed out my phone, I stood up and grabbed her hand pulling her to her feet.

"You sure love taking photos" she stated with a playful laugh.

"I sure do, photography is amazing, you can take a moment and freeze it in time" I smile snapping a picture of her.

I positioned us in the camera so that the moon could be seen behind us. I kissed her cheek snapping a photo.

"Can we go now?" She questioned.

"Sure" I reply snapping one last photo of us before shoving my phone back in my bag.

"You'll send me those later right?" She asked, her voice sounded sweet.

"Of course" I reply kissing her hand.

She started the engine and we headed back.

Arriving at my hotel, I kiss her lips before opening the car door.

"Meet me at the beach at lunch time" I smile getting out of the car.

"Okay, see you" she smiled.

"Text me when you get back to your hotel" I smile before heading off towards the entrance.

I wave one last time before entering the building. I make my way as fast as I can towards my room. Finally arriving I unlock the door and throw myself onto the bed grabbing my phone. I stared intently at the pictures I had just previously taken of us. You could only just make out our faces but it was beautiful. I pressed the button turning it into my screen saver.

I smiled to myself as I hear a buzz coming from my phone. I opened my messages reading the one Sarah sent me. I sent her the photos.

We talked and talked until the sun began to rise in the sky. I smiled to myself as I sent her my last message before closing my eyes and allowing sleep to take me in.
