Keeping you a secret

Chapter Two

I stirred in my bed before leaning over to grab my phone. Shit, it's 1:30pm already. I jump out of bed as fast as humanly possible running towards the bathroom.

I put my long brown stretched out curls into a messy bun on top of my head, before making my way back into the room. I grabbed a pair of light blue high waisted denim shorts and a black tight fitting tank top. Putting on a plain black bra, I then put on my shorts and top tucking it into my shorts, I slipped into a pair of black flats, grabbed my bag and keys and left the room.

I knew the cinema was only a two minute walk from here so instead of driving in the traffic I just walked to the cinemas.

"Taylor" I heard the familiar angelic voice call out.

"Hey" I smiled following her into the cinema.

We bought our tickets and snacks and headed towards the cinema three.

"You don't get scared easily do you?" She said with a soft, playful laugh.

"Haha no" I say laugh.

"Good, because this movie is supposed to make even the bravest hide their faces in fear" she said.

I doubt that considering it is only a ma15+ how scary could it really be.
When we reached the already darkened cinema she grabbed my hand, lacing her fingers with mine before dragging me up a flight of stairs to the very back of the cinema.

The movie was just starting as we sat down. I watched her intently as she fidgeted in her seat trying to get comfy.

"Better?" I questioned laughing quietly.

She nodded and smiled at me.

We sat there quietly, stealing glances at one another throughout the movie. Once the movie had ended we grabbed our rubbish and left the cinema.

As we stepped outside we could see that the sun was just beginning to set.
"Hop in" Sarah gestured smiling at me.

Without questioning I got into her car and we headed towards the beach.

"What are we doing?" I asked.

"Watching the sun set silly" she smiled.

We stood in front of her car leaning against the bonnet looking up at the beautiful array of colours in the sky.

"This is the second most beautiful sight I have ever seen" She says smiling.

"What's the first?" I asked her curiously.

"I don't think you're going to believe me if I tell you" she smiled widely and laughed.

"Try me" I challenged.

"You" she says.

"You're so cheesy" I laugh playfully pushing her.

"It's true though" she insists.

"So you've never look in a mirror
before?" I laugh staring into her eyes.

"Now look who's being cheesy" she laughs, putting her arm around my waist.

I wish I could freeze time and stay frozen in time with this girl. It was truly perfect, something you ways saw in movies, and always hope it would happen to you but probably never happens. Well I get to experience that very moment.

Just as the sky turned a dark purple, only a couple of stars graced the night sky I took advantage of the moment and I kissed her. She kissed me back wrapping her arms tightly around my neck.

"I'm going to remember this moment forever" I say into her soft pink lips.

"So will I" she whispered finally breaking the kiss.

We got into the car and I directed her to where I was staying.

"What are we doing tomorrow?" She asked tilting her head to one side.

"I don't know what do you want to do?" I asked her.

"Well how about I pick you up at 10am and we can go for a drive down the coast, maybe get something to eat?" She asked

Her voice was so beautiful, it was sweet and bubbly and projected love and kindness.

"Sounds amazing" I reply looking straight into her eyes.

"See you in the morning" she smiles, pulling me in for another kiss.

"Bye" I say barely able to talk.

She smells like cotton candy and her lips taste like vanilla. I raced up to my room. I jumped straight into the bed, not even bothering to change my clothes. I grabbed my phone and set my alarm for 9am. Just as I was about to set my phone down a text message came threw. I look at the screen noticing it was from Sarah I quickly unlocked my phone.

I had fun tonight. Reading those words made my heart sing. Me too I replied.

We texted each other for a few hours before saying goodnight.

Putting my phone on charge, I closed my eyes. I could still smell her perfume on me. After a few moments I was off to sleep.
