Keeping you a secret

Chapter One

I was laying in the sand, the hot sun shinning on my back, my eyes were shut. Ah this is so relaxing I thought to myself.

"What the hell" I hissed, sitting
up to wipe the sand from my stuff.

"I'm so sorry" a slightly older woman says trying to help me clean the sand of my back.

All I could do was stare at the brown hair, green eyed beauty as she knelt down beside me.

"I'm sorry too, I just assumed it was one of the boys over there" I told her pointing to a group of about twenty guys kicking a football around.

"I'm Sarah" she says extending her hand.

"Taylor" I smile shaking her hand.
She laid down beside me unclipping her bikini top to get a better tan.

I couldn't help but stare at her. She was easily the most beautiful woman I had seen in ages, if not ever. I had to spark up a conversation with her.

"So you live around here?" I ask.

That was a stupid question as if some chick I had just met was going to tell me where she lived.

"Aha no, I live in Melbourne, I'm just here on holiday, how about you?" she giggles.

"Me too, I live in Melton South, it's kind of a small suburb but it's a great place to live" I smile.

"No freaking way, me too" she laughs.

"Small world" I smile like an idiot.

We talked and talked until the sun
went down and all you could see was the sun in the horizon and the sky illuminated with a dark purple as it turned into the night sky.

Sarah and I became instant friends, although I could definitely see something possibly blossoming in the future.

"Do you want to maybe go to the movies or something tomorrow?" I asked, standing to my feet gathering my belongings.

There was only three weeks left before I had to head back home for school and I wanted to spend every second I could with this girl.

"Sure, how about 2pm at the cinema down the road?" She said smiling.

"Perfect" I replied returning the smile.

"See you later Taylor" she smiled walking towards a red and black Mini Cooper.

"Bye" I waved getting into my black Suzuki swift.

I started my car and left towards the hotel. It was only a short drive from the beach.

Arriving at the hotel I parked my car into the closest parking spot, grabbed my bag. Locking my car before walking into the building.

Making it to my hotel room I opened the door, threw my bags on the floor and shut the door behind me. Going straight into the bathroom I ran the shower. I let the water run over my hands until it was nice and warm before taking off my clothes throwing them to the floor and before getting in.

I stood under the shower allowing the warm water to run down my back.
I grabbed a sponge and began scrubbing the sand of my body before lathering shampoo in my hair, scrubbing my scalp to remove any sand from my hair. I washed the shampoo out then smothered conditioner through my wet stretched out curls.

I sat on the shower floor for a few minutes allowing my legs to rest while I massaged it into my hair, after a few minutes I stood back up allowing the water to run through my hair.

I got out of the shower grabbed my towel and wrapped it around my wet body.

I pulled out one of my sports bras and a pair of boy shorts. Slipping them on before climbing into the soft bed.

I was tired so I closed my eyes, but our conversations kept replying in my head with every emotion she showed and the way her soft green eyes sparkled as she talked, the way her lightly tanned skin had a subtle glow to it and the way her brown wavy hair blew in the wind. The image was driving me nuts. All I wanted to do right now was see her.

I abruptly snapped the thought of her out of my head, looked over at my phone. I felt my cheeks turn a light shade of pink as I noticed she had sent me a text.

I messaged her back and we continued talking until three in the morning. I put my phone back on charge on the table next to me. I shut my eyes and before long sleep had taken over me.
