Keeping you a secret

Chapter Eighteen

I woke up around lunch time to the smell of Chinese food. I jumped up to see Sarah standing there with a bag of food. I smiled at her and she sat down on bed next to me and pulled out two containers of food.

I ate quickly and went for a shower.

I walked out of the bathroom to see a naked Sarah standing there with a towel in her hand. I walked over to her pulled her in close and pressed my lips against hers.

"Mm, I have to go for a shower" she said breaking the kiss.

"Don't be too long" I smiled.

Ten minutes later Sarah was standing there wearing a beautiful red dress.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"My parents anniversary party, do you want to come?" She asked.

"Sure" I smiled.

I slipped on my black dress and heels, I quickly did my make up and returned to the room.

"Ready?" She asked looking me up and down.

"Aha" I said grabbing my handbag and phone.

We left the room and headed to Sarah's parents house.

After about five minutes driving we pulled into the driveway and straight away my eyes were drawn to a beautiful three story house in the outskirts of surfers paradise.

I got out of the car and walked around to Sarah. She grabbed a present off the back seat and my hand and we walked up to the door.

"Sarah" a middle aged woman said.

"Mum, this is my girlfriend Taylor" she said.

I held my breath for a moment half expecting her mum to yell or something, but instead she extended her hand.

I shook her hand and we walked inside there were ready a lot of people here so we placed the present on a large table and Sarah dragged me off to meet some of her family.

After an hour or so we were all instructed to take a seat in the back yard. There was a lady standing under a huge rose covered arch and Sarah's dad was standing in front of her facing Sarah's mum as she walked along the red carpet. She looked beautiful in her white silk dress.

Sarah's parents said their vows and everyone cheered. It was truly a beautiful occasion.

"I think a vow renewal is a beautiful idea" I whispered to Sarah.

She smiled at me and we walked back inside where everyone was gathered around the happy couple as the cut their cake.

After another hour of mingling Sarah and I said goodbye and we headed back to the hotel.

"I wish I could introduce you to my family" I told her.

"You will one day" she said kissing my cheek.

I wrapped my arms around her waist and snuggled my head into her chest.

"Hey, what do you say you grab your camera and we go take some photos down at the beach" Sarah said.

"As long as your in the photos" I smiled.

I got my camera stuff and we went down to the beach, it was almost completely empty. I put up the tripod and put my camera on it.

I took a few photos of Sarah then set my camera on timer and took photos together while the sun was setting in the background.

After a good half an hour I put my stuff in the car, took off my heels and Sarah and I walked along the beach until the sun had fully set.

We walked back to the car and went and ordered a pizza.

After we ate our pizza we went back to the hotel. I got changed into a blue camisole and a pair of grey boy shorts and climbed into bed next to Sarah. We watched movie for a few hours until we fell asleep.
