Get to know you

Nico's pov

After I left my cabin Jason ran up to me. We were walking around camp since he said he wanted to talk to me.

"So you wanted to talk to me."

"What? Oh yea thanks for reminding me. What's up? How has it been with the whole crush on Percy thing?"

"I'm over Percy and I'll tell you what I told him he's cute but he's not my type."

Percy caught the last bit of our conversation.

"Well at least I know you're talking about me." With that Percy started walking with us and joined in on the conversation.

"So I'm guessing the seven, Will, the Stolls, and Reyna all know about the crush I use to have."

"Yep. So are you and Will close friends?"

"He's more of an acquaintance but I'm hoping we can become closer friends."

As if on cue Will ran up to us.

"Hey guys."

We all replied with hey. But then it came to Percy saying hey and instead he went all out.

"Hey mah main man. How's it hanging?"

I facepalmed.

"C'mon Percy let's go see if Annabeth and Piper need us." Then with that Jason was walking away and dragging Percy behind him.

I rolled my eyes then kept walking with Will by my side.

"Percy is stupid," Will said.

"Exactly that's why people call him seaweed brain. Some people even believe that he ate too much seaweed as a child and it somehow went to his brain. But he can be smart sometimes."

"The key word there is sometimes."

I smiled. "Don't you have to be in the infirmary."

"Nah someone took over for me. So do you want to hang out?"

"Sure." I took his hand and led him to the woods.

When we got near a cave we sat down on the outside of it.

"So why did you want to hang out with me?"

"I was hoping I could learn more about you."

"Um sure what do you want to know?"

"What happened to you while you weren't at camp?"

"A few things happened."

"Like what?"

"I was stuck in a bronze jar because of some giants. And I was close to death if not for Percy and the others saving me. Also I went to Tartarus alone and willingly."

"You went to Tartarus alone and willingly?!"

"Yea I was trying to find the doors of death."

"How did you survive in the bronze jar?"

"I ate one pomegranate seed a day. They came from Persephone's garden in the Underworld. Also I kinda saved the air in the jar so I would survive."

"No more pomegranates for you."

"You know I might just have a pomegranate just to get on your nerves."

He gave me a death glare. And I busted out laughing.

"Don't even think about it di Angelo."

"Fine you win this round."

"So how long have you and Jason been friends?"

"A few months I guess."

"How long have you been friends with the seven and Reyna for?"

"Only a few months but for Hazel it's been more like a year."

"Well that's only because she's your sister or else she would also be a few months."

"True."

He stood up and held his hand out for me. I took it and stood up.

"Tell me more about yourself."

"Why do you want to know so much about some child of Hades?"

"Because your my friend and I want to get to know you."

"Ok well what do you want to know?"

"What's your favorite color?"

"Um I would say black but technically that's a shade so I guess blue. What about you what's your favorite color?"

"I guess gold or like a chocolate brown I guess."

He rested his arm on my shoulders.

"Are you sure you're not related to Percy or did Percy rub off on you?"

"What's that suppose to mean?"

"Just that you're sometimes an idiot."

He busted out laughing.

"Aren't we all. Idiots that is."

We started to walk back to the camp. When we heard twigs behind us snap. We turned around and I had my sword drawn. More twigs snap as they get closer to us.
