Nico has been gone for two months now and I've-- I mean we as in the seven, Reyna, Calypso, the Stolls, and I have been worried.

Jason, Percy, and Leo keep looking for him only taking breaks when it's a meal or when they go to get some sleep.

I even asked Lou Ellen if she could use a tracking spell but sadly she got nothing. Frank and Hazel have also been searching for him. Hazel either with Frank while he's an eagle or underground.

I feel useless since I can't help them because I just some healer. I'm not even a fighter that's how useless I am.

Why would Nico like someone like me? He probably doesn't like me. He probably thinks I'm like an annoying younger sibling who won't leave him alone.

I shook those thoughts from my head.

I look around to see if anyone's around. There's not so I sprint into the woods. I continue to run until I knew No one could hear or see me.

This is probably all my fault somehow.

I punch a tree. Jason flies down and stops me before I can punch a tree again.

"Hey what's going on? Why are you punching the tree? What did the tree ever do to you?" Jason asks.

I sit against the tree I was just punching. Jason sits beside me.

"Nico is gone and it's all my fault. That's why I was punching the tree."

"Woah where did that come from? Listen it's not your fault Nico ran away. It's no one's fault no one knew he was going to run away. He'll come back when he comes back."

I smile and thank him.

"Of course no one knew I was leaving that was my intention."

I look to the right of me and see Nico. Jason and I stand up.

"Hey Nico. Where were you? Did you get injured? We were all worried sick next time tell us if your leaving Ok?"

"Wow doctor Solace didn't know you cared so much."

I embrace him in a hug and he tenses up. I let go.

"Sorry it's just I missed you and I was worried."

"It's fine. Also Jason do you mind gathering the others and taking them to Thalia's tree?"

"Not at all."

Then with that Jason was off. Nico and I start walking towards Thalia's tree. When we get to Thalia's tree Nico leans against the tree with his arms crossed.

Kayla runs up to us.

"Will we need you in the infirmary. Clarisse and the Stolls were training."

I nod and turn to Nico.

"See you later you can tell me what you want to tell them later ok?"

"Ok see ya later Solace."

Jason's pov

I gather everybody and take them to Thalia's tree. Nico is already there and is leaning against the tree with his arms crossed over his chest.

"Hey guys. I have something to tell you. I'll be telling Will later so don't bother telling him."

"What is it?" I ask.

"I'm leaving both camps for awhile. I left because I was debating on whether I should leave or not. I'm going to visit. I'll also be bringing campers to both of the camps so I'll also be visiting then too."

"Oh," we all say in unison.

I embrace him in a hug and soon it's a group hug. He tenses but hugs us back. Then we all pull away.

Will's pov

Once I'm done in the infirmary I sprint to Thalia's tree. Everyone is still there. I hear everyone say goodbye to Nico then leave. I walk up to Nico.

"What was all that about?" I ask.

The whole camp comes to the border where we are. Jason hands Nico his bag.

"I'm leaving camp."

I look at him. He looks back at me.

"Promise you'll come visit?"

"I promise."

"So I guess this is a goodbye?"

"Yea I guess it is." He then hugs me which surprises me but I quickly hug back not knowing how long this will last. "Thank you for everything."

"Anytime."

He pulls away from the hug.

"Goodbye."

He turns around to walk away.

"Hey Nico?"

"Yea?"

Should I tell him that I like him?

"Be careful."

"I will."

He shoulders his bag and crosses the border. He summons Jules Albert. He opens the back door. He looks at us all and waves. Then he hops in the car and closes the door. Soon after he's gone.
