Chapter two:

"I hate him. He's annoying, and seems like a spoilt brat." Molly rolls my eyes at my little rant. Everyone is still talking about this morning when I slapped Ryder. Might as well me on the bloody news: "Harley West slaps new kid, Ryder Rivers."

Seriously when are people going to get over it, I slapped him this morning and it's already lunch.

"Your new frenemy is making out with your enemy." Molly states, nodding her head into the direction she was looking at. I turn behind and there he was Ryder Rivers making out with the school slut, Lizzy Dream, he has hardly stepped foot into the school and he pressed Lizzy into the wall making out with her.

I stayed staring for a second reminiscing James and Lizzy presses up against a wall having sex.

"Hey Sandy Cheeks, hey baby face." Tom and my brother arrive at the table that we usually sit in, they spoke but I wasn't paying attention, I was busy daydreaming.

I snap back into planet earth when Molly claps her hands in front of my face.

"Wakey wakey Harley! Daydreaming about Nutella and Oreos again?" She knows me so well.

I nod my head as my friends giggle at me, nothing new. I couldn't wait to get back home and stuff my face into food! I wonder how my Nutella is doing...

"Hey babe." I hear a familiar voice.

"I'm not your babe. What do you want James?" He never comes up to me, he's either desperate or he's gone completely mental.

"Well I just found out Lizzy cheated on me with Ryder Rivers so I was wondering if you wanted to get back together?" He has to be kidding. Please tell me he's joking.

"Now you know what it feels like to be cheated on. And as for your question... no I won't go back with you, want to know why? Because anyone would be stupid for going back with their cheating partner but yet some people do go back with their partner because they believe in something I don't, love, you ruined that for me. Go find someone else to date." With that I push him off our table and he lands with a thump, the whole cafeteria was watching including Ryder who had a smirk on his face.

I stand up and look down at James who was still sitting on the floor with a bright red face in embarrassment.

"Guess what? Now everyone knows what a dick you are. Such a shame that you couldn't keep it in your pants. Don't talk to me ever again." I look at him the same way people look at peasants. With disgust.

I grab my bag and go to the library. I usually go there to get away from everything. James ruined the little faith I had in humanity and now all I have left is my friends and family, everyone else is just...there.

I grab my phone a dial my moms number. She was the first one to know about James cheating one me.

"Hey darling." I sob at hearing my moms voice. "Sweetheart what's wrong?!"

"James." I hear my mom sigh on the other side of the phone.

"Say no more, I'm coming to pick you up from school." She hangs up after that and I start walking to the library exit but bump into something.

I look up and see Ryder. "Sorry." I wipe away my tears and walk past him making my way to the schools exit once I leave the library.

I see my mom standing by her car, I run over to her and she embraces me into a hug. We get inside of the car and start driving around until we reach the beach. The only place that calms me down.
