-Harley West-
Everything inside the yacht was amazing, every time we would go inside I room, my jaw dropped to the floor. I was so fascinated.
Right now we were chilling in the hot tub just admiring the view as the captain drove the yacht around. At first I felt a little sea sick but soon it just disappeared as I had more and more fun with Josh.
He had got the cooks to bring us some food and drinks, so we were eating strawberries dipped in Nutella as we drank cherry Coca Cola, a very under-rated drink.
"So is this how a day in the life of Joshua Evergreen is?" I chuckle, provoking him a little bit. He smiles and shakes his head.
"Nope, only when I want to impress a pretty girl." He winks at me as I stick my tongue out at him.
"So, you bring girls up here a lot." I tease him a little, knowing full well that Joshua Evergreen doesn't date.
"Just you." We both chuckle as we relax. "It's getting quite dark, I better get you home now or your dad will chop my balls off." I nod as we get out of the hot tub, wrapping ourselves in fluffy white towels and drying ourselves off before we got into our original clothes.
After that he dropped me back home and walked me to the door like a gentleman. It's safe to say that chivalry hasn't died, yet.
"Harley! How was it?!" Before I could even properly shut the front door, my mom was attacking me with questions about the date.
"It was great, he took me on a yacht ride." My moms eyes lit up as she bounced up and down. "Where's dad?"
"At The Beat with your brother." As expected. Every Monday and Wednesday my dad takes Dustin to The Lions hangout and trains him or whatever.
I go upstairs to my room after saying goodnight and I go shower, after that I go straight to bed to sleep but my mind didn't seem to want to sleep on contrary to my eyes.
After hesitant, long hours I finally fall asleep.

"No I don't, Jesus chill. Seriously, Molly you have to calm down."
"Are you a hundred percent sure you don't like Josh in that way?" I roll my eyes at my persistent best friend and slowly walk away from her but she catches up pretty quickly.
"What's this I hear about you and Joshua?" Please! Anyone but him.
"Nothing, Ryder. Molly is just exaggerating," I lightly nudge as Ryder walks beside us. Why did he have to be so annoying?
"Can I talk to you in private?" All of us stop walking and I face to turn to Ryder. "Please, Harley." Damn it...
I lightly nod as I tell Molly to go on with out me. Ryder leads me to somewhere so that we were alone.
"What, Ryder?"
"I'm sorry I didn't show up for the dance. Something came up...." What was so important? His face dropped as he remembered why he didn't appear. "Can I come over after school and I promise I'll explain everything?"
I hesitantly nod as we said goodbye and headed back to class, maths.
As usual maths went by pretty quickly and boring and it made me lose the little brain cells I had left. Yay.
After maths I had Latin and after that was lunch. Thank the Nutella gods for that!
I sat down at my usual table, waiting for Molly, Dustin and Tom.
Molly arrived first and she sat down with a smirk plastered across her face. The same look she puts on when something she found interesting happens.
"What?" I raise my eyebrow in concern. Sometimes these facial expression she makes scares the crap out of me.
"What did Ryder want? He took you to the classic janitor closet. OH MY GOD! DID YOU TWO HAVE SE-" before she could finish shouting that out loud, I covered her mouth and shut her up.
"No we did not. And he wants to explain why he came to the charity event late after school." After I said the words after school, a mischievous smile appeared on her face and I knew exactly what she was thinking. "You're impossible."
"Hey sandy cheeks, hey baby face." Then there were three.
———
I had gotten a text from Ryder telling me to wait at the schools car park for him so that's what I was doing.
Unfortunately it was raining and it's already 3:15 meaning I've been out here for a couple minutes, resulting me to be soaking wet.
Half an hour went by and I was drenched in rain and still no sign of Ryder. As I was about to walk away, I hear someone call my name.
"Hey, sorry I'm late. Mr Barn kept me behind for detention. Let's get you home." He puts his leather jacket on my shoulders and walks me to his car in which we both get in.
"Can we go to my house instead?" I raise my eyebrow at him. "It's closer and you're going to catch a cold." I roll my eyes and nod.
"Your house is like thirty seconds away from mine, you're my neighbour remember?" I chuckle at him slightly.
"Those thirty seconds could potentially get you more ill."
Through out the car ride we talked casual talk and soon we were at his house.
Time to find out the truth
