Gladion's POV (August, a year later)

I don't know what I've gotten myself into now. I asked Hau for another date, and this time it was going to be special. God, I haven't been this nervous in a long time! I told him that we were going to a fancy restaurant on Mele-Mele Island, so I hope that he dresses at least slightly formally. 

I put on black dress pants and a white shirt. I put a green tie on and a black overcoat on as well. I tie my long hair into a slick ponytail and I remove my earrings. I have to look my best today. That much was for sure. 

I chuckle to myself, remembering how quickly our relationship had advanced in the beginning. If Hau hadn't given me that quick hug after our battle, I may not have even quit that stupid job that Team Skull had given me. Hahaha! Team Skull. Who even knows what they're up to now? 

I had made reservations for this restaurant a few weeks ago, under my name, so Hau didn't have to think about paying. I make a quick adjustment to my tie and I slip a small black box into my back pant pocket. I guess that now is a good time as ever. I make my way out to my car, ready to go.
