"Last night was wonderful!" Mick smiled, scratching the back of his neck as he stared at the maroon rug.

"Yes!" Stevie simply replied and chewed on her bottom lip, her feelings were all still tangled and she was surprised what had occurred.

Mick gulped, feeling his own confidence diminish, wondering if he was bad in bed or something or if she hated him now and regretted it "I am going to cook or order breakfast, anything you want, I make a good baked beans on toast!" Mick smiled.

"Thanks!" Stevie smiled, clutching the sheet around herself "But I do have to go get ready for the for the studio, sorry!" She smiled and chewed more on her lip.

"Stevie, I'm truly sorry, no one has to know about this, just a night of passion between two wonderful friends!" Mick smiled, even though he knew he was in love with her.   If sacrificing what could have been to save their friendship, he would do it, anything to have Stevie in his life.

Stevie felt deflated but nodded and forced a smile, she felt terrible, Mick was married, her friend and bandmate and she had stupidly fallen head over heels in love with him. She felt like a fool "I agree Mick, I had better go now!" She said, getting up with the sheet still around her.

"No food first, are you alright?" He asked watching her wince as she stood.

"Yes, you can go start cooking, I have to gather my clothes!" Stevie said looking down at the plush carpet and Mick nodded, walking off to give her privacy.    Stevie felt on the edge of crying as quickly redressed and did a bit more cocaine.  Then she ghosted past Mick and was soon back at her own room, she curled up on her bed and started crying.  He didn't want her.

The day at studio was a litte on the awkward side.  Stevie and Mick had tried to both play it off as a friend's with benfits thing, or a one night stand and completely ignored the previous night, acting as they had before while the other each wanted to other.  No one had noticed the oddity of their behaviour but Christine had noticed Stevie moving slower than usual and approached her while Mick, John and Lindsey were sat around a bong of marijuana that Ken had given them as a gift for completing so much so quickly for the new album.

"So something tells me you took it up the ass last night!" Christine giggled, a little drunk as she rested her hands on Stevie's hips from behind and making the younger woman jump.

"You are so crude and have a very dirty mind Mrs McVie!" Stevie tutted, laughing.

"Thank you Steph!" Christine smirked "So who was the lucky man?"

"No one, you are actually wrong and who has been watering your garden anyway, you look and sound exuberatnly happy!" Stevie grinned, turning around and watching Christine blush a little "Yes, the pink cheeks confirm it, so who?" Stevie smirked.

"My hand and the new toys I bought!" Christine winked and grabbed Stevie's glass of Brandy, drinking it all quickly as Stevie blushed "No need to be shy, its only sex!" Christine chuckled, winking "So, who was he, Fuckingham again?"

"Christine, don't be judgy and jump to smutty conclusions!" Stevie frowned, taking her glass off her.

"I know the truth love, I've been around a lot longer than you and done a lot more perverted shit than a sweet little naïve thing like you has!" She smirked and slapped Stevie's ass.

"Christine, is there anything you haven't done, like really?" Stevie laughed, trying to turn the conversation back onto the older woman, who just shrugged "You are drunk aren't you?" Stevie asked.

"Obviously, I'm only outgoing when I am off my face!" Christine laughed loudly.

"Chrissy, I wish you didn't drink so much!" Stevie frowned.

"I have my own issues love, don't stress about me, just don't get used by whatever man fucked you, they all come and go, like I mean they come and then they go!" Christine laughed meaning it sexually too.

"You really don't like men do you?" Stevie asked, forcing a smile even though she felt more used by Mick than ever.

"I do like my wine!" Christine grinned "Just lonely at times, bullshit like that, no worries love, but please tell me who the lucky man is?"
