Stevie's eyes widened as Mick pulled into the fancy paved driveway that seemed to look multi coloured and lovely like her own yellow brick road, besides the yellow part, leading to a very beautiful and elegant mansion that was stood tall and strong in front of them, it had a magical glimmer to it and Stevie was already falling in love with it  "Mick, is this the house?" She gushed as her eyes sparkled, it was so breathtaking and something like from one of her recurring dreams, which made her feel like she was on the right path in life, finally after how long she had felt lost for.

"Yes beautiful, it is!" Mick grinned, chuffed by her positive response and hoped with every fibre of his being that she would fall madly in love with the mansion and be content there.

"Its lovely, like a fairy-tale castle and look at the pretty little yard with that luscious green grass for the baby to play on!" Stevie beamed, imagining their toddler running about and looking for fairies.

"I know, that is why I picked it, there is even some nice flowers and bushes in the pretty gardens and the lawn looks soft and all magical like you like!" Mick chuckled smiling.

Stevie smiled warmly, she loved how Mick acknowledged her love for all things mystical and imaginative, instead of mocking her for it and saying she was childish or some other insult.  With Mick, she felt and  loved how safe, relaxed and true to herself she felt with Mick.  He wasn't judgmental, he had showed how he would support her in everything she chose to do, with all the conversations they had while she was in rehab, all the plans they had made, it was amazing for her, Mick respected her as an equal and wasn't being controlling to her, he doted on her and it felt refreshing beautiful "I love it already!" Stevie giggled excitedly, knowing the property had already charmed her.

"I'm glad, as long as you still love me more!" Mick teased, parking the car and leaning over, playfully kissing the side of her head.

"Of course!" Stevie replied smiling widely.

"Wait there while I come and get you out, you are tiny and need protecting like a little dove!" Mick chuckled, quickly climbing out of the car and hurrying around to the passenger seat and opening the door.

"You are silly!" Stevie chuckled and allowed Mick to gently help her out, he then wrapped an arm around her and draped his coat over her shoulders after taking it off himself and basically wrapping it around her protectively as he lead her to the doorway where John and Christine were eagerly waiting "Chris!" Stevie squealed and hugged the taller blonde happily. Christine was so much more happier than she thought she would be as she set eyes on her best friend who was glowing and looking radiantly gorgeous and healthy.

"Stevie, I was so worried you would die in that place, did they electrocute you, tie you up, how was the shit hole, I bet you lied on the phone when you said it was fine!" Christine exclaimed, pulling back and resting her hands on Stevie's shoulders and looking into her golden brown eyes that had their old sparkle back, not the dulled or glassy heavily dilated stare anymore.

"Oh Chris, you are so against any type of medical or helpful things!" Stevie chastised and Christine rolled her eyes "The facility really did help and it was very tranquil and they took excellent care of me and the baby. Nothing weird or barbaric, that's why we are here, all clean sober and responsible!" Stevie smiled, rubbing her little baby bump lovingly.

"I'm glad you are out, now that lovesick fool can relax!" John chuckled pulling Stevie into a brotherly hug then, pointing at Mick who poked his tongue at him in response.

"I'm glad to be out, I missed you all so much but I'm better now and all ready to be a Mum!" Stevie grinned happily, more proud of herself than ever before, she had overcome her addictions.

"I'm happy for you and its good to see that pretty smile back!" Christine stated happily and cupped Stevie's face, still hoping she herself wasn't carrying Mick's child or else it could prolong Stevie's recovery from the addictions.

"I am so happy to see you all too, I feel so free!" Stevie grinned.

"I'm glad hon!" Christine smiled happily.

"Now let me show you around your new house!" Mick smiled, taking Stevie's hand and kissing it like a gentleman in an old time movie.

"I love the house already, the start of our brand new future!" Stevie grinned as Mick left her inside.

"We will give you some time to explore like love birds!" John chuckled and noticed Christine was looking worried as she leant against the door frame.

"Thank you!" Mick winked and led giggling Stevie off inside to show her around.

John then closed the door and turned to his wife "Chris?" He asked seeing her looking concerned.

"I think I'm bleeding!" She whispered scared as she looked at him and gripped her stomach.

"Fuck, we need medical help!" John stated suspecting highly she was pregnant.

"No, Stevie just got back, just help me sit down!" Christine stated grabbing John's hand.

"Alright!" He soothed and vigorously brushed his thumb over her hand as he led her and sat her in the chair that outlooked the small backyard that was filled with a fountain and lovely gardens "Just relax!" John cooed.
