Christine pasted a smile on and forced herself up from the chair even though she felt crushed with guilt and also was nauseous still which she assumed was from her pregnancy and struggle to eat "I'd be honoured to feel the baby!" She said warmly as she slowly walked around the table feeling like everyone was staring at her and she felt on the verge of shaking, she hated having attention, especially when she was feeling guilty and trying to put on an act, it reminded her of all the concerts they had to perform in the past when her and John would have a big argument which usually was fuelled by too much whiskey or cocaine and then they would all have to perform together and do their best to act all cheerful on stage.

"I am sure I felt it move!" Mick grinned proudly as Christine made her way around the table, once stood beside Stevie, Stevie eagerly and excitedly took Christine's hand and placed it on her tiny bump, giggling and enjoying so much the tiny flutters and vibrations of what she thought was the baby rolling over or kicking its tiny little legs inside of her stomach.

Christine smiled, still warmed to see the new couple gushing about their future child and she instantly felt an electric like buzz coming from within Stevie's stomach "Wow!" She chuckled amazed at how active the baby seemed to be already and Stevie wasn't even showing much yet which made her think about how her baby should be doing all those things too since they were close in age, it also made her feel riddled with guilt too.

"I know, its amazing, the best feeling in the world!" Stevie beamed still feeling overjoyed and so happy about her pregnancy and she was just trying to focus on the present moment and not the past that still made her upset and feel guilt over her previous pregnancy "Feel that hand little one, that's your auntie Chris, she is my best friend and can be your god-mother!" Stevie giggled, then smiling as she focused on her growing baby and gave a loving glance at Christine.

Christine smiled warmly even though the guilt was overwhelming, she kept wanting to go and drink until she collapsed but she couldn't anymore and that scared her, she had to look after herself, which was something she had felt she never did after loosing her mother so young, then jumping into a marriage with John when she was already going down the path of rock and roll living, she was scared to live normal again but she had to now, for the baby she was carrying.

The last time she had been sober had easily been when she was around the tender age of sixteen and she was now already in her thirties, she was so scared but managed to pull herself together "I cant wait to be a god mother too and will gladly be one to your little one, I can't wait to meet them!" She cooed, trying to forget the small, well large fact that she was pregnant too and carrying the half sibling of Stevie's baby.

"I am so glad and so is the baby!" Stevie beamed and stood up, flinging her arms around Christine before gently cuddling her.  Christine gladly cuddled her back, slowly wrapping her arms around the younger woman, but not before Mick saw how cautious and scared she looked and he was determined to ask her what on earth was going once he got Stevie settled in and sleeping after the meal was eaten, he knew something was off between the McVie's he had known them long enough to read them easier than a book.

"I'm glad too darling!" Christine smiled, patting Stevie's back and just wishing everything was different, in a way she wanted to just go get an abortion so Stevie and Mick could get a happily ever after with no bumps in the road and by bumps, she thought of her tiny bump that was encasing Mick's baby.

That already tore at her even considering it though, she knew she wouldn't be able to get an abortion, she understood why others did but she couldn't do it, especially after she already thought she was miscarrying and then saw the tiny little baby on the screen, she wanted to protect what was inside of her and she just felt so torn, but she used her years of practice with masking her feelings to put her mask back on and mask them a little longer, for Stevie and Mick's sake.

"I am so excited, I finally get to be a Mum!" Stevie gushed, bursting into tears of happiness while Mick rubbed her back and laid kisses in her hair. Christine held back a breakdown as she pasted on another smile, she was happy for her, but the guilt still tugged away at her and John watched, feeling helpless and knowing the trauma his wife was going through.

After lots more gushing from Stevie and Mick, the younger blonde soon began yawning, tiredness hitting her as she had already eaten way more than usual "I better get some sleep, the baby is sleepy and so am I!" She giggled, rubbing her bump and then yawning again.

"Come on then little mama, time to get you and the bub to bed!" Mick chuckled, laying more kisses in her hair and all over her face as she burst into a giggling fit.

"You pair go on then, Johnny and I will wash up!" Christine smiled, patting Stevie's arm lovingly as she walked past her, wanting her to at least have one night of bliss and rendezvous before the truth shattered it.

"Chris is right, come on angel of my dreams!" Mick laughed and scooped Stevie up while she squealed and laughed, the whole house filled with her giggles and her and Mick's banter as he took her up to their bedroom and luxurious ensuite.

"You should sleep too!" John said, resting his hand on Christine's back as she carried plates over to the kitchen, asleep on her feet nearly.

"Yeah, I should!" She replied but shrugged "Need to do something though, make up for the slut I am!" She sniggered.

"You are not a slut!" John stated.

"Bullshit, you called me one enough, I guess I really am now, so congrats John, you always knew me too well!" She snapped, pulling away and beginning to exit the kitchen, tears burning the rims of her eyes.

"Chris!" John exclaimed starting to follow her, feeling bad too and not even recalling his drunken slurs.

"What, its true!" She snapped, holding back tears still.

"I was fucking prick, you have always been too good for me, how many times do I have to say I am sorry, you should know I never meant any of what I said, I was a drunk wanker, if I could change it I would, in the blink of an eye, I fucking love you Christine Perfect and you are always perfect to me!" John exclaimed, grapping her hand and using one of his oldest lines on her that usually made her giggle or at least smile at him .
