Christine didn't look at Mick or John for a few moments, she didn't even know what to say, Mick seemed to know the baby was his anyway so she thought it was probably pointless trying to deny it anymore, she had tried to but John was a terrible liar and it was obvious anyway and she felt foolish if she kept trying to claim the baby wasn't Mick's, the truth would all come out anyway, especially if all did go well and the baby was born looking exactly like Mick's other daughters when they were born, she then couldn't help smile internally at the thought of her very own little girl like her god-children, Amy and Lucy who were adorable and she recalled the tiny little angels when they had first been born, wrapped and swaddled in soft pink blankets and she felt her heart flutter, she also still felt a heavy amount of guilt weighting her down still.

Before still replying to Mick, she darted a glance to John, wanting to know his opinion because she still didn't want to lose the marriage she was working so hard at re-building and John gave her a soft smile, sensing she was nervous "Its alright honey!" He smiled and she took that as it was alright to tell Mick.

She slowly turned her head and looked quickly at Mick before picking at the soft fabric of the blanket "I am pretty sure it is yours!" She said quietly, still not looking at him and feeling like it was the most awkward thing that could possibly happen to all of them "I don't want anything from you though so don't think I will be a whiny bitch about it all!" She then stated masking her shook up she was over it all.

Mick gently placed his hand on hers "I could tell it was mine and we knew this could happen since the one night stand did so I'm sorry Chris, not that is happened, but I am sorry for you and John and Stevie!" He sighed, sympathetically, rubbing his thumb over her hand "I never meant to hurt any of you, you don't have to tell Stevie either, I will, its my mess, I should have been careful with you and her but I guess its done now and we have two babies to prepare for, I will be there as whatever you want to, you are carrying the baby, so you can make the decisions!" He said to her and she nodded, feeling exhausted by this point and kind of not phasing any of it properly because it still felt like a huge mess and she knew she wouldn't relax until things between her and Stevie were sorted, she just hoped she wouldn't break Stevie's heart with the news since the younger woman would still be fragile after just getting out of rehab and was dealing with her own pregnancy.

"I'm tired right now and I need to tell Stevie myself, I will worry about if I don't miscarry, I already thought I was loosing it, then I got the scan and that's it!" She shrugged and held the picture out, still pessimistic and looking at it trying to not feel attached "I just will wait a bit!" she added.

"Try to just get some sleep, everything looks better in the morning right, that's what you always said!" John soothed, knowing how stressed she was over it all, he also knew she did care for the baby a great deal no matter what she pretended.

Christine gave John a little smile and pulled away from Mick, laying down and curling up into the bed, still holding the ultrasound picture "I really think though, you will feel better once Stevie does know and you two girls can then be there for eachother and experience the pregnancies together!" Mick blurted out.

"I agree but its Chris' choice, lets just let her sleep, she had a big day!" John said, pulling the blanket over her as Mick got off the bed and John then leant over, kissing Christine's forehead softly and noticing she looked upset still.

"Stevie will be alright about this, I'm sure, I just care about all of you and don't want anyone miserable!" Mick stated.

"I will think about it alright!" Christine sighed, knowing she would feel a lot better if she knew where she stood with Stevie.

"Good plan, well good night then!" Mick said awkwardly, giving soft wave before darting out of the room.
