Willow rushed into work fifteen minutes early, she didn't want to give Mr. Burns any more reasons to fire her.

Adam looked up from his computer, "You look worse for the wear," he stated.

"Thanks for that," Willow groaned. "I got drunk last night, saw Mr. Burns, and called him an asshole."

Adam gaped up at her, "And you weren't fired?"

"Thankfully, no. He actually found it kind of funny."

"Wow, you must be something else. I can't imagine any of his former assistants calling him that and then keeping their job."

Adam gave her a thoughtful look.

"What?" she asked him.

"Nothing..." he said, smirking up at her.

"I don't know what you're smirking about, but I can't worry about that now. We've got some work to do."

"Speaking of work, I got a confirmation for the hotel reservation in Dubai. Now we're just waiting to hear back from the limo service."

"That's good. It would be huge, if we could land this contract with Woodville."

A voice spoke up from behind her, "Not if, Ms. Pearson, but when."

She could recognize that arrogant voice anywhere. "You have a habit of sneaking in sir," she commented.

Mr. Burns raised an eyebrow, amused. "It doesn't count as sneaking if I own the office, Ms. Pearson."

Willow laughed.

They get along too well, Adam thought to himself. Before he could comment, his desk phone began ringing.

"Thank you for calling Burns Incorporated. This is Adam, how can I help you," Adam answered. He paled slightly and put a hand over the receiver.

"It's Jack Montague," he whispered to Mr. Burns and Willow.
