With his alarm clock blaring, Jacob rolled over in his bed listening to the noise he's grown to hate. He threw a swift slap to his alarm clock before sitting up. He glanced at his room and saw his book bag and sports bag waiting for him. Jacob looked across the room and smirked.

After the season ended, Jacob continued to live with Ricky and his family, sleeping on a cot in the basement at the end of Ricky's bed. But midway through winter, Ricky moved out into his own apartment. He took Jacob with him.

Right on cue, the door opened revealing a shirtless Ricky with a toothbrush sticking out the corner of his mouth.

"Get your ass up! I'm not driving you to school!" He yelled, his voice muffled from the toothbrush. "I got things to do. I ain't got time to drive you."

Jacob just nodded his head, listening to Ricky walk out when he dropped his head down. The white boy took a deep breath before he got up out of bed, headed to the bathroom, and did his morning routine. After finishing in the bathroom, he got dressed in a white short sleeve shirt, grey joggers, and white sneakers. He styled his dirty blonde hair under a SnapBack then grabbed his bags, heading into the main area of the apartment.

The two bedroom, one bathroom apartment was small but fit both boys perfectly. At times they were on top of each other, but neither of them really minded since they got along great. They had a living room/dining room area off the small kitchen. The kitchen was only a fridge, stove and oven, with a sink and counter. Both boys couldn't fit together in the kitchen from how small and narrow it was.

Jacob dropped his bags down in the living room before going into the kitchen to get a quick something to eat. By the time he was mid-through his apple he had chosen, Ricky had surfaced from the back of the apartment.

"When's Diego coming for you?" Ricky asked, stepping over Jacob's bags to go to the dining table that they had. He sat down and opened his laptop, going to his email instantly.

Jacob was about to reply when his phone started ringing. "Now." He said, running to his bags and out the apartment. "See you later! Good luck on your first day!" He called out, jetting out the door.

Jacob ran down the outside walkway that connected all the apartments and ran downstairs since they lived on the second floor. He got to the parking lot where he saw Diego's truck waiting for him.

Jacob threw his bags into the flatbed like they always did and jumped into the backseat. He slammed the door behind himself, only to feel Diego drive off before he had the chance to put on his seatbelt.

"Hey, Blanco." Diego greeted with a smirk.

Jacob fist bumped him when he put his fist up then did a handshake with Stephen who was in the passenger's seat.

"Where's the others?" Jacob asked, forgetting all about his seatbelt and just leaning forward to talk to his friends.

"Jose's getting a ride from Colby and Ethan's getting a ride from his uncle. We're on our way to getting little miss princess." Stephen mumbled, going back to giving directions to Diego from his phone in between his texting. "Turn left."

Jacob slid across the backseat when Diego took a hard left down the empty residential area. "Three houses down then stop."

Diego looked at the houses before stopping outside a two story home. The boys looked out the windows at the house. They all broke into smiles seeing Clover standing in the front yard laughing and smiling with Dante who was waiting with her. He was balancing on forearm crutches with his feet planted on the ground.

Clover stood still as he took the few steps to come near her to give her a kiss goodbye. Diego rolled down the windows and all three of them whistled at them and yelled out comments.
