I groaned, feeling a throbbing pain in my brain.
I tried to pull myself back up, feeling the pain in my brain to intensify. I put my hands onto my head, gritting my teeth.

I opened my eyes, seeing myself on the floor.
How'd I get down here?
I looked up to see the box on the table.
It took my mind a second to comprehend what happened.
I tried to escape..
I whined, trying to roll over, feeling strong pain in my stomach. I wrapped my arms around my small body before looking down, seeing blood already beginning to seep through the shirt.
My breathing quickened.
I pulled my shirt up, seeing blood coming through the stitches, some of them came undone!
I pulled my shirt back down, moaning at the discomfort.

What am I suppose to do for that? What can I do? Maybe I could find something to help slow down the bleeding.
I rolled onto my side, trying to push myself back up.
The second I tried to stand, I cried out in pain, falling back down onto my side.
I can't stand!
Did I break my ankle or something?

I heard the door open, and talking.
I felt my eyes go wide, I scrambled to the wall behind a recliner.
Not able to stand, so I ended up doing a type of almost army crawl.
I am going to be killed! It worried me what they would do. I got in a corner directly behind the recliner, hiding me a little. How long was I even unconscious for?

"Dad, why are we here again? Isn't it suppose to be your day off?" I could hear the familiar voice of Alton.

"It is, but my assignment was to keep up with the human. So I need to check up on her every once in a while." I recognized Cedric's voice.

"The girl? If you have to watch her, why not just take her home to keep up with her better?"

"In case we need to run more tests, they have to be ran here.." He trailed, probably noticing the box being empty. He ran up to it, looking over it.

"What's wrong?" Alton's voice asked in concern to Cedric's reaction.

"She's gone..." He slowly looked back to him.
"Look around! Watch your step. We need to find her! She couldn't have gone far." Cedric ordered his son who instantly started to watch the ground.

Worry ran through me, what were they gonna do when they get their hands on me? And run more tests?
Am I just a test subject to them?
Am I gonna die? My heart began to pound when I felt a presents getting close to my hiding spot.

I looked up just in time for a head to poke up from the other side of the recliner. Alton..
he spotted me, stared at me for a second, probably noticing the blood.
"Um... Dad.." He called.

Cedric ran over fast, then sighed in relief when he saw me. He pushed the recliner out of the way, his strength horrified me.
I could feel my breathing get even heavier.
He crouched down in front of me, then froze when he noticed the blood.
He reached both of his hands out to me, I responded in pushing myself more and more into the wall, whimpering.

His fingers curled around me, taking me away from the ground.
One of his fingers came underneath me, so my foot accidentally hit it.
I yelped out in pain, making him loosen his grip a little, I could tell he seemed unsure of how he hurt me and he was trying not to make it any worse.

Cedric stood, carrying me down the hall with Alton following.
Tears ran out of my eyes, I couldn't control the little whines that escaped me from the pain and from the fear. He set me down onto the table that was in the room he had now entered.
"Alton, can you get me that little white box up there?"
Cedric pointed up to a cabinet up high.
