I could still feel the tremors in the ground as I ran back into the village, feeling the light thumps in the ground. I ran as far as I could. Into an area with the most buildings, closest together so I could hide. I hid in between two tall buildings, panting while leaning against the wall of one of the buildings.

Who was that? Razel, I hope she will be okay.
I leaned my body more into the wall, sliding down it until I was now seated on the ground. I laid my head back, feeling the rough texture of the building rub up against the top of my head.
What am I suppose to do now? Where do I go? My parents are gone, there's people after me, and the only people who are still alive now, the ones I actually felt safe with are caught.
I felt alone.. I whimpered, feeling a tear escape my left eye and roll down my cheek.

Now, I'm in probably the most dangerous place while alone. I felt I was waiting for death. I couldn't even imagine my life now, my future. I couldn't see it. I had no one.. And i'm in a world with beings that were bigger than me, I had no protection..
My cries began to get slightly louder. I pulled my knees up to my chest, hiding my face in them, trying to silent my cries so I didn't attract any attention. I hugged onto myself tightly, maybe I should let those guys find me. Where else was I suppose to go? I had no where else. My body trembled, I dug my nails into my jeans.

"What is all that crying for?"

My head shot up from hearing an unfamiliar voice. My eyes jumped all around the area, scanning my surroundings. I saw no one.
I sniffled, bringing myself back up onto my feet. Becoming alert now. I kept my back to the wall so nothing would come up from behind me.

"Why are you here alone?"
I heard the same voice ask.

My eyebrows narrowed in confusion as my eyes kept looking over the area in search of the owner of the voice. Where are they?
"Who-........Where....." I mumbled, looking around.
I tried again, clearing my throat.
"Who are you?" I attempted to ask firmly.

"Just a curious and concerned bystander that so happened to be passing by."
The voice sounded like it belonged to a women. That was all I could really figure out. The direction of the voice or where they were at, I could never understand.

"Where are you?" I called out, my voice felt a bit off.

"Here with you." Was all she gave as an answer.

"Are you a ghost? I don't understand.."

She laughed at my response.
"Dear child, no. I'm not. Just please tell me, what is wrong?"

I sighed, I felt a little nervous from not knowing where this stranger stood. But maybe they did care? Maybe they can help me!

I sniffled again, running my sleeve of my jacket by my nose.
"Can you help me? I'm lost. I'm in trouble. I don't know what to do." I looked down, but kept my ears open to attempt to keep track of this person since I could not see them.

"How are you in trouble?" She asked with curiosity.

I shrugged my shoulders up a bit.
"There's..... There's Novians after me. They want to hurt me." I put my hands together, clamping onto each other tightly.
"And- and the other Novians that cared about me are in trouble. I feel stuck."
My eyes began to blur, feeling the sadness come back up. Little whines came past my lips as the liquid that gathered in my eyes were starting to drip down my face.

"Aw, you poor thing." Her voice now felt like it was circling around me.
"I can help you."

I pushed my glasses up so I could rub at my eyes to clear them.
"You can?"
