(I don't know what happened here, XD this got a little darker than I was intending it to. So, warning! This will contain blood and death.)

I opened my eyes, where was I? Outside world, the trees and buildings were tall but not as tall as I've always seen them.. The grass was a bright green and so were the leaves on the trees. I looked down to my feet to see black concrete underneath them. I felt bigger, not as so insignificant as I've always felt. Everything was more my size.. What is this? I was alone.

"Alton?" I called out, in hopes he would appear. Reassure me that everything was alright. But he never came.
"Cedric.." I called a little lower, looking around my surroundings.

Then suddenly, it felt like life just hit me.
Sound became known and kids that seemed about my age ran up next to me, appearing out of thin air.

"Come on, Clayton!" A girl called after me, a huge smile plastered onto her face.

I stared at her with curiosity, my confusion did not seem to even phase her. She stood a few feet away from me with a ball, bouncing it onto the hard ground. She awaited for me to make a move, seeming like she was the happiest  person in the world.

Then I felt something go off in my mind.
"Grace." I remembered her name.

Upon saying her name, her smile got bigger and she tossed the ball to me but only for a boy to run up and steal it before I could even touch it.

"Come on, Clay! What are you waiting for?" The boy called back to me, throwing the ball into the hoop that towered over us.

"River." I smiled, seemingly to forget about all of my problems and focus on what was going on.

I ran up, smacking the ball out of his hands and running off with it. Another girl appeared out of nowhere and stole the ball from my hands and tossed it up at the hoop for it to barely make it's way in.

"Charlie." I said her name as I remembered, the name Charlotte also came to mind but I couldn't help but say Charlie in place of it.

"Why don't you guys watch and learn from the master." Charlie said a little smugly.

"Good idea! Ya'll should take a seat." River ran up and stole the ball.

As we just started playing, I couldn't help but laugh as I played along.
What was I so worried about earlier? I stopped and stood in place. Wasn't I looking for someone..?

I thought about it, then River shoved me, pulling me out of my thoughts and back into the game. I smiled and ran with them. I tossed the ball to the net but only for it to miss and go past it.
"I got it!" I called back to my friends and ran after it, which didn't go so far. I bent down and picked it back up. Then I began to feel weird.. Like something wasn't right..

I looked over to my friends to just see them standing there, emotionlessly, it gave me weird vibes. I turned my gaze to the other side of me to see something bright and colorful.
It looked like a portal. The ground began to shake and my heart rate began to pick up. What was happening?!

The next moment I looked back to the strange glowing thing, huge being began to pour from it. Destroying everything in their sight. I jumped back from their sudden appearance and ran back to where I had left my friends but became confused when they wasn't there anymore..

It was like they just vanished, I looked right and left and couldn't find them, or even see them running away. They were just, gone. I ducked down near a small building that housed all of the sporting equipment to keep out of sight. I heard screams and cries for help, I held my hands onto my head, almost like I could just disappear out of this situation.
