Alton sighed as Parker walked off. He stood, easily sliding me back into his pocket. I could feel him walk away.
So, out of all the insane teens he calls his friends, there's one calm normal one that actually has his sanity.

"I'm sorry to leave you there like that." I could hear Alton mumble. Even though from where I was, I could not see what he was really doing or what was around him, I knew that was of course directed at me. I could practically feel what he was doing, since I could not see, I had to rely on other senses.
"I just thought it would be best to not have you anywhere on me in case they got rough or if they saw you. I didn't really pay enough attention to Nick and Parker when they started looking at the aisles. I was so caught up in talking to Sal. I guess I was just lucky that you only ran into Parker."

I shifted my spot to get more comfortable, looking up at the clothed 'ceiling' like I could see through it.
"It's okay." I muttered.
"Parker is so different compared to the others..." I trailed.

"Yeah.. He's the odd one out. He's the calmest one out of us all but he would join us for any stupid shit we were doing in a blink of an eye."
He stopped for a moment, then continued.
"I really wouldn't say he's the smartest one either though.."

I could hear him messing with something, moving things around.
"Hey, you like to draw right?"

I took a second.
"Yeah.."

He didn't even have the chance to say anything more when I heard a familiar voice that was only filled with anger.
"Alton." The voice growled, but didn't shout. Obviously not wanting to draw attention.
It was Cedric..
I felt Alton fiddle with his jacket a little, not so sure what he was doing.

I fell to the side when I would assume Alton was roughly grabbed and dragged away from where he stood. It was Cedric wasn't it?
What was he mad about? Did he see me?
Impossible, I haven't really been saying that much and I didn't even try to look out this time.

I could hear the bell that hung on the door jingle when the door was thrown open.
The door to the car opening and closing with a loud slam. I braced myself for what I was going to hear, worrying about why Cedric seemed mad.

There was silence for a few minutes, then Cedric spoke as calm as he could in that situation.
"You want to let her out of there?"

"How'd you know?"
Alton questioned, moving his hand out the way for me to be able to come out on my own.
I crawled my way to the entrance of his pocket and poked my head out. Seeing Cedric's gaze on me and making me shrink back down when I saw a little anger still burning in his blue eyes.

He turned his attention towards the steering wheel, he placed the keys in and started up the vehicle.
"I'm your Father, I know more things than you think I do."
He began to drive into an unseen direction.
"But why did you even bring her here? She could have gotten hurt. Then I would have gotten fired." Cedric mumbled the last part.

"Just thought to give her a little freedom." Alton rolled his eyes in annoyance at his Dad.
"She would have spent the whole day in the cage if it weren't for me."

"Well I'm sorry that her cage isn't as fun and exciting, but it's really her only safe place." Cedric glared at the road.
"This world is not safe for someone like her."

"Then why even bring her into this world?" Alton snarled.

"We had questions that was left unanswered and with all the commotion going on, we were given permission to finally uncover those answers. Also, if you hadn't noticed, her world is currently falling apart now as it is." Cedric gripped the wheel.

"This is so stupid," Alton looked out the window.
"She is just as safe with me as she is in her little box. At least is was only Parker that saw her-" Alton abruptly stopped himself when he said those words.
