The light came on which about blinded me.
I could hear the sound of running water. I looked up to see Alton's face which was not focusing on me at all.
"Here." He lowered his hand that contained me to the light colored counter top.

The second my feet hit the table, he removed his hand. Feeling suddenly a bit cold from becoming accustomed to Alton's warmth.
He started to run the sink's water, testing out the temperature.
He looked under the sink in the cabinets below, throwing open the doors and slamming them shut, making me jump from the sudden and loud noise.

Feeling the vibrations of him looking through the cabinets.
He pulled out a towel, or to him, a washcloth and sat it down next to me. He rushed about the bathroom, trying to get things in order.
"And you'll need... soap.." He mumbled to himself under his breath. He picked up two bottles, one black bottle and one white.

He sat them onto the counter with me, they towered over top me. I wasn't even able to reach the top of the bottle. I was only able to reach about a little over half way.
I would assume this was the shampoo and conditioner he was going to allow me to use. But how? To get the liquid from the containers, it would have to be tipped over and squeezed out. There's no way I could lift this!

Alton came back up to the counter top, practically slamming a hand soap dispenser down onto the table, I jumped back a few feet in reaction.
Alton left the room, marching down the hall.

I looked back down and watched the running water in the sink, the plug was still up so all the water was still pouring down the drain. I could practically feel Alton coming back quickly.
He entered the room again, setting two cups down on the table top as well.

He stopped whatever he was doing when his phone buzzed. He picked it up to look at the screen to see what it was. With a roll of his eyes, he set it down onto the counter carelessly and returning to whatever he was doing.

"What are you doing?" I asked him, since there was a long moment of no one saying anything and there just being an awkward silence haunting the air, I might as well break it.

He huffed.
"Trying to make it easier for you to be able to get soap without assistance." He kept his eyes glued to what he was doing.
Based on his movements, it seemed he did not know what he was doing.

He unscrewed the top to the hand pump quickly, and pouring its remaining contents into one of the cups.

I watched him making these attempts to save whatever hand soap he could with uncertainty. He tapped the container a few times, making sure all of the soap has exited its original container and into its temporary new one.

I plopped down onto the counter, crossing my legs Indian style.

He picked up the huge black bottle and popped the top open and flipped it upside down. Having this silky white fluid leak from the black bottle and into the shorter hand pump bottle. Obviously that was suppose to be the shampoo. He poured about two ounces into the hand pump before screwing the top back on and setting the black bottle off to the side.

He dropped back down and began his search once again through the cabinets.

"What are you looking for now?" I leaned a little over the edge as an attempt to see what he was doing, but becoming a little dizzy from seeing the height I was away from the floor made me force myself back onto the counter. Even scooting back farther than I was originally sitting.

"Looking for another hand soap pump. I swore I saw another.."

I hummed, standing back up onto my feet. Wondering over to the sink that still had running water and still draining out. I touched the large glass knob that turns the water on and changed the temperature and used it to keep my balance. I reached out as an attempt to touch the running water that heavily leaked from the faucet. When the tips of my fingers came into contact, I had to yank them back. Feeling like my fingers were now burning from the touch.
