I felt the car come to a stop, I looked around the area to see what was going on. Cedric put the car in park.
The box shifted, making me go more into the wall when Alton got out the car.
The sudden cold I felt from the AC was gone and replaced by the heat of the sun, and with the box being made out of glass didn't help the temperature.

"I'm not scheduled to work today so as soon as I drop you off, I have to take Alton to school. But I will be coming in tomorrow so you'll see me then." Cedric spoke to me.
"I'll try to have a talk with my coworkers before I leave and if anything big goes on, I'll try to be there to keep an eye out for you. But I wouldn't think they would do anything too bad today but don't hold me to it." Cedric opened the door, going in first and trying to hold the door open a little longer for Alton to come in from behind him.

The heat that was gathering in the box from the sun was now slowly going away and replaced with cooler air.
We traveled down a long hallway until finally reaching the room. Cedric pulled out a badge or card and scanned it, opening the door.
A few people in uniform were walking back and forth, Cedric waited patiently in his spot.

"Ah, welcome back." A familiar man walked up to us.
I fiddled nervously with my fingers, seeing this man. It was the other guy I had seen when I had first waken up. Cedric's boss if I'm right.

"Mr. Price." Cedric nodded to the man as a greeting.

"How you doing? And more importantly, how is she doing?" Mr. Price snatched the box from Alton's hands, leaning it this way and that, causing me to slide and tumble around.
Until I was able to catch myself.

"Um, fine. I would recommend to be easy with her even though she can now walk. But we just took her splint off yesterday." Cedric told Mr. Price who never tore his eyes away from me. He eyed me almost like I was a prize to him. I guess I was just lucky for this little prison, after all, it's the only thing that was keeping me separated from him.

"She will be fine, do not need to worry about her." He placed the box back down onto the table where I had first woken up. I gripped the blanket even tighter.

"What's with the book?" Price asked, looking from my sketchbook back to Cedric.

"It helps her with her boredom." Cedric answered.

The wall was opened, making my heart rate pick up ever slightly. Price reached his hand in and pulled out my book. He flipped through the pages, studying its contents.
He nodded, setting the book back aside.
Then reached his hand in once again.
As his hand drew closer, I found myself trying to push more and more away. Problem was, I was already in the corner, so there wasn't much else I could do.

His grip, was tight. A struggled gasp left my throat and I squirmed to try to get in a better position.
He pulled me out of the area I now wanted to go back to more than anything.
With his other hand, he pinched the blanket I had and pulled it away from me. He looked over it a little disapprovingly and went to throw it away.

"Sir," Cedric stopped him before he was able to.
"It might be best to let her keep that. It gives her comfort."

"This old rag..?" Price looked at him weirdly.

"Under the circumstances she's under, she'll need something that makes her feel safe." Cedric explained.

Price's eyes glances between me and the blanket.
"Fine." He turned away, tossing it over his shoulder for Cedric to catch.

He walked into another room, dim, a bunch of people running around.
"Alright, Fellas. This is the moment we've all been waiting for. We need to do what we can today, get as much done as possible.."
