I was shot out of the strong force, I felt the air whirl past me. Then as fast as I was out, I felt something hit me. Knocking the air out of me. It was hard, a little sharp here and there, it stopped me. But only for a moment, I then began to fall. A quick thought came into my mind, realizing it must have been a tree. Made the most sense to me, and from the constant colors I've been seeing. Brown and green, the bark and the leaves. I smacked into every branch on the way down, until I eventually hit the ground. I groaned, feeling the leaves sprinkle over me from the commotion I've made.

I moaned in pain and discomfort, I opened my eyes, seeing a bit strangely now. Did it mess up my eyes sight or.. No. My glasses.
I sat up, feeling my body yell at me in agony. I gritted my teeth, then pulled my glasses off of my face, my glasses.. They were cracked in one lens. Great.. I sat them back over my eyes, they were all I had now, and I didn't have the best eye sight, so I would do better with broken glasses than without any at all.

I scanned my surroundings, seeing a dark world. I had to sit there for a moment to get my mind to grip onto the new information I was now receiving.
Everything.. felt so small... Even the trees, after getting use to seeing them in Novis. Everything.. was my size.. Finally. I set my hands onto the grassy ground, trying to push myself up to my feet, but to only whine from a shock of pain that zapped it's way up my arm, from my wrist.

What's that?! I yanked my hand away, gripping onto my right wrist. I whimpered at the feeling, I must have sprained it when I fell out.
I grunted again, having my wrist up to my chest to keep it far away from the ground, trying my best to not aggravate it this time. I pushed myself up, but tried to be careful to not make anything else in my body mad at me, encase I had hurt something else I wasn't aware of.

So far, it seemed to be mainly my wrist, the rest of my body may have been a bit sore, but I could manage it.
I tried to walk, walking into an old town. It seemed to have all been run down, damaged. It wasn't really pitch black, I still had some light. But there were dark clouds that took over the whole sky, making it look like it was going to rain soon. I held onto my wrist as I walked more, towards all the buildings. But I remained aware, hoping I wouldn't run into a giant here, knowing if I would, it would most likely be a Cannibal. I didn't need that.

Most buildings were dirty, unkempt, still barely standing, or in rubble. Was to be expected though. I jumped when I heard thunder rumble high above me, I looked up to the sky in reaction. Waiting for rain, waiting for lightening. But nothing came, just the storm's occasional threatening thunder.

I was now entering the small village, looking up at the tall buildings. Being in Novis like I had for a while, and then suddenly coming back to your own world, would really mess with your own mind. Everything that would be considered big here, would look small to you.

The same, familiar loud burst of sound came from behind me, making me leap back in surprise. As I spun quickly around, I saw the portal reopening, with cops jumping through and landing perfectly onto their feet.
They shined flashlights, scanning the ground.
Oh no! They're coming for me! I ran away, running into a random building to try to escape the Novians who were after me.

I was lucky though, they didn't see me. Maybe I can hide here and hope it doesn't fall down on top of me. I hid in the darkness of the house, feeling the tremors in the floor and the Novians looked about. I crouched down in a dark corner, covering my mouth as they approached the village, walking by.

I was mentally preparing myself for what I would do if they had found me. What would I do? Where would I go? I could hear them talking to each other, more like whispering back and forth.
I waited in the darkness for a while, until the tremors faded a bit. I knew they were near, but I felt I may be okay. I finally took notice of the house I had ran into. Seeing that it was a lot more destroyed than I thought before. The inside looked a lot worse. I got back up, looking down at the white tiled floor, that was now broken up a bit. Seeing the what use to be sleek, shiny table tops but was now just filled with ruble and dirt.
