Chapter 10

"So what did you want to talk about last night when you came by?" I asked. We had been sitting on the beach for about 5 minutes now just looking around at everyone and taking in the view.

"Oh, yes." He nodded. "So I'm not sure if you've been online and seen but pictures of us have surfaced and I just wanted to tell you not to listen to any hate or negativity that people say online."

"Yeah I noticed. Madison showed me it all." I nodded chuckling.

"I'm sorry. I didn't intend for this to happen it just kind of did." He smiled.

"I know the feeling."

"I just don't want to scare you off because of all the attention that was thrown at you. It can be hard being in my position sometimes and my dating life is definitely something that I struggle with." He looked down as I scooted closer to him.

"I don't want you to think that we have to hide, or even shove it in anyone's face." I rubbed his back.

"I want to hide you from the world because I know the hate girls get sent everytime I'm seen with one and I like you a lot and seeing someone online hurting you because of me and who I am makes me feel like shit." He looked up at me as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Do whatever feels right." I smiled backing away from the hug.

"This right here feels right." He smiled. "I just know how hard it can be for you because I won't be able to take you on normal dates and go shopping at the mall with you or do anything public really."

"If you're willing to make this work that's enough for me. I don't care about dinner dates and shopping. You just trying is enough for me." I smiled. He grabbed my hand giving it a little squeeze.

"So if you don't mind, I would like to continue what we have going right here." He smirked as my face heated up.

"I would be honoured too." I whispered as I leaned my chin on his shoulder. We both let out little laughs as he brought his lips down to my temples softly as I just closed my eyes leaning deeper into his body.

"Did you want to spend the night tonight?" He asked pulling away.

"I'd have to go back to get my things but yes, I would like that." I smiled.

"Good." He chuckled. "You can invite Madison too."

"Since we're being so honest and all." I laughed standing up brushing the sand off of me. "Madison and I leave on Sunday to fly back home." His smile quickly turned into a frown before standing up to face me.

"Really?" He asked sad.

"Yeah. I really didn't know when to tell you cause I really didn't think we would continue what we've doing." I shrugged.

"You're heading back to Toronto, right?" He asked.

"Yeah, why?" I said confused.

"I'll be heading back to LA." He said. "But I have a place I'm staying at and I would love for you to come with me and stay with me."

"Shawn." I laughed.

"Please." He begged.

"I have to go back home. My mom would kill me if she found out what I was doing." I nodded.

"She doesn't have to know." He smiled.

"I'll think about it." I nodded smiling. "Let's just go swimming." I said trying to avoid talking about the future between us.

We were swimming for a while and just having fun in the water when people started to recognize Shawn and take pictures of him and I and also having crowds come up to us asking Shawn for pictures. Shawn being the amazing guy he is, of course took pictures with each and every person before we decided to jet off.

"Hey pack some things for tonight. We're spending the night with Shawn and his friends." I texted Madison letting her know because I damn well know she was still in bed.

"Did you guys talk?" She texted back.

"Yes and he wants me to come out to LA with him for however long he's going to be there."

"Then go omg aw"

"Mads my mother."

"I'll cover for you making up some bull excuse. Just go"

"I told him I'd think about it."

"K well now tell him yes" Sighing, I caught Shawn's attention as I sent him a smile before he focused his attention back on the road.

"He told me he liked me and wanted to continue what we have going"

"OMG YES GIRL"

"Why don't you seem so excited?"

"I'm pulling up to the hotel now. We'll talk about it later, ok?"

I got out of the car as I walked to the hotel room, Shawn following closely behind as I just smiled at him before we got to the hotel door.

"Is everything okay?" He asked turning me around before I opened the door.

"Yeah why?" I asked.

"Ever since I asked you about LA, you've been weird." He shrugged.

"Stop overanalyzing everything." I chuckled.

I opened the door seeing Madison packing her bag. I smiled over to her as Shawn closed the door behind him.

"I'll just sit down here." He smiled pointing over to my bed. I nodded as I picked my purse up shoving some things inside that I knew I would need for tonight and tomorrow morning.

"Ok well I'm done." Madison said sitting on her bed and crossing her legs.

"You guys are leaving Sunday, why don't you just pack your things and take everything over to my place and spend Saturday night as well?" Shawn suggested. I looked over at Madison as she nodded.

"I'm cool with that." She smiled.

"I guess." I shrugged.

"I'll just call Andrew and let him and everyone know." Shawn said standing up and walking outside the hotel room.

"Spill." Madison said the second he walked out the door.

"I don't want to go to LA." I said truthfully. "He wants to make things work and so do I but I don't want to leech off of him all the time."

"Amandaaaa." She whined dragging out the a at the end of my name. "Can't you see he's inviting you because he's trying to make things work? He clearly likes you a lot if he's inviting you out to LA to spend time with him for the time that he's there. Go." She argued.

"You really think so?" I asked biting down on my bottom lip.

"Yes." She chuckled.

"I'm just nervous." I nodded my head.

"About what?" She asked scrunching her face up.

"Mads I'm still a virgin, we're going to be staying together for a however long I'm staying there for. What if something goes down? You won't be there, I need my best friend." I pouted.

"Fuck him tonight." She shrugged. Throwing a pillow at her, she blocked her face before letting the laughter escape from her mouth. "It will hurt, just warning you." She put her hands up in defense.

"And that's exactly what I'm scared about. He's tall, his feet are huge, he works out a lot, he's probably fucking packing!" I screeched making sure I didn't yell too loud.

"Have fun." She chuckled as I rolled my eyes. "Just know that once you get dick, you're going to want it all the time."

"Shut up." I laughed.

Wow...oh my god so I literally was supposed to update this chapter last Wednesday and never pressed publish.....so I'll be uploading two today :)
