Chapter 42

"Honestly Shawn, thank you." Madison smiled. "You really didn't have to bring me."

"I wasn't going to leave you at home." He shrugged. "It's no big deal."

Shawn and I walked hand in hand through the crowd as I'm surprised not much people noticed him. The odd stare here and there and a person taking a "sneaky" picture but we made it to our seats with no interruption.

"Scarlett." Karen perked as she had noticed Shawn and I were here.

"Hello." I smiled embracing her in a hug. I introduced Madison to his family as we sat down and waited for the game to begin.

Shawn had been spotted in the crowd by a few fans which got the arena's attention, which also got the people's attention that worked the camera crew for the big screen. Of course Shawn agreed to go on the big screen as they introduced him.

The game went well as we had decided to leave about 20 minutes early so that Shawn wasn't bombarded by people after the game had finished and everyone was leaving at the same time.

"Next time you go to LA, I wanna go." Madison spoke up as we had been walking to the car.

"I'll make note of that." Shawn chuckled. "I mean, you guys can get packing soon because I have to go back in a week." Shawn spoke up.

"A week?" I asked bummed. "Oh, right." I said remembering our call from a little back.

"Yeah." Shawn nodded. "We're filming the music video for Lost In Japan."

"Can Madison and I join?" I asked with a bit of a puppy dog face.

"Please do because I can't go another month without seeing you." He smiled.

"Ok, wait till you guys are home to be getting all mushy." Madison smirked as we got inside the car. We dropped Madison off at her house before heading over to Shawn's place which was not far from the hockey arena but Mads needed to go home.

"So are you gonna have a love interest in this video?" I asked a little jealous that another girl would be all over him.

"Yes but don't worry. There's no kissing or touching of any sort really." Shawn chuckled. "We're actually filming scenes from a movie."

"Don't tell me, I wanna see when the video is filmed and all put together." I smiled.

We made it back to his house, and the first thing I did was wash my face and get ready for bed. I was tired and exhausted from the night out the other night in New York still. Alcohol really isn't a friend to me.

The past couple days, Shawn and I spent it in bed, taking a walk around downtown Toronto and spending time in the little park area he has behind his building. We were set to leave for LA tomorrow during the day.

"I told Madison she can come over anytime she wanted too." I said as Shawn and I had been sitting on a park bench watching the owners walk their dogs as kids played on the playground.

"We can all go out to dinner tonight?" He suggested.

"Dinner and then come back to watch a movie?" I asked. "A horror movie of course considering Halloween is tomorrow." I smiled.

"Did you want to go see that new Halloween movie in theatres?" He asked.

"Please?!" I begged. "I wasn't sure to ask you because of who you are so I was going to go with Mads but since you wanna go, I'd love for all of us too." I rambled.

"Alright." He chuckled.

"Text her and see if she can come earlier so we can get all that done tonight." I pulled out my phone texting her to come now if she could as she responded saying she'd leave her house in about 10 minutes.
