Chapter 38

A couple days had gone by quicker than expected as I was driving Shawn to the airport as we parted for a month. I knew fans were going to be there because the same fans are always there.

I stopped in front at the drop off as Shawn and I turned to each other. I hated public affection when I knew someone was around watching and taking pics so I told Shawn I'd stay in the car and let him go.

"This sucks." I whined.

"I know, babe." Shawn smiles rubbing his thumb across my hand. "It'll go by quick and next thing you know, I'll be back in your arms."

That instantly put a smile on my face as he leaned in closer connecting our lips together. I brought my hand up to his cheek as I deepened the kiss a little more.

Shawn made sure to give me a goodbye present when we woke up the s'morning. I was sure to make sure it was enjoyable for him as well.

"I love you." I smiled as he pulled away.

"I love you." He smiled back.

He got out the car grabbing his things as he closed the door and began walking towards the doors. I watched him until he got inside as I let out the biggest sigh and drove off. A month without Shawn, wow.

3 weeks had gone by and Madison was sure enough to keep company as we switched back and forth from whose house we were spending the night at.

"I think I might go spend the night at his condo tonight." I said looking over at her.

"Alone?" She asked.

"Yeah." I nodded. "He had given me a key a while ago in case I wanted to just go over."

"I'm surprised you guys haven't called or talked much." She spoke up after a while.

"I told him to only really call me when he's not busy, and he's been extremely busy. We still text, but the calls are limited." I smiled.

After a while I ended up saying goodbye to Mads as I left her house and went to mine to pick up a few things. I drove over to Shawn's as I took the elevator up and unlocked the door.

Being here without him felt weird but I think sleeping here with his scent would help with how much I missed him.

I put my stuff down as I was getting a FaceTime call from him.

"Hey!" I yelled as I answered the call.

"Hey beautiful. What are you doing?" He asked.

"I actually just drove over to your house." I smiled.

"Oh you did?" He asked.

"Yes." I chuckled. "Thought I'd spend the night here tonight from how much I missed you."

"I love seeing your face." He said admiring me through the call as a small smiled appeared on his face.

"What are you doing right now?" I walked into his room plopping down on the bed as I waited for him to answer.

"I'm on my way to an interview with Jimmy Fallon." He said. "I thought I'd call you because the traffic is bad and it might take a while."

"Hi Amanda!" I heard someone yell as Shawn pointed the phone to Andrew.

"Hello Andrew." I chuckled.

Shawn and I talked on the phone for a lot longer than I expected as it was time for him to go.

"I'll text you later tonight." He smiled as he got out of the car. "I love you."

"I love you more." We ended the FaceTime call as Shawn had told me the Jimmy Fallon interview was coming out in a couple of days.

He had also told me he would be coming down for a couple days before heading out to LA to film a video for Lost In Japan and Youth.

I was excited when he told me the storyline for Lost In Japan as it was one of my favourite movies when I was a younger teen.

I took a boomerang of the CN tower at night from this beautiful view uploading it to my Instagram story. Fans had already speculated that I was "living" at Shawn's which wasn't the case.

I took a shower and changed into one of his T-shirt's as I got into his bed going under the covers. It smelt of him, which made me want to see his face again.

"Can't wait!!" -S

I put my phone down beside me as I doze of to the smell of Shawn lingering throughout my nose with a smile on my face.

A week has gone by extremely quick as Halloween was in a month and Madison always throws a Halloween bash at her house considering the size of her house is monstrous and her parents are always gone for the weekend.

"I think I have all the invites done." I said stacking them all in a pile.

"Did you double check?" She asked.

"Yup." I smiled.

We always have to prepare early because it takes a lot of planning to do considering she does it all by herself, I do help here and there but she likes to do everything.

"Shawn's in New York right now." I spoke up.

"I thought he was in LA." She said confused.

"He was but he has a festival he's performing at tomorrow then he comes back home the day after." I said excited that I finally get to see him.

"Were you thinking of going?" She asked.

"I was." I smiled. "I wanted to surprise him but he's coming back in 2 days so I'll see him then." I still wanted to surprise him though.
