Sitting down at her bedside, they had made sure to close the door for me so I can get a little bit of privacy. I grabbed her hand with both of mine as her tiny fingers were soft and cold.

"Amanda, I know you're in there and I know you can hear me." I said kissing her knuckles. "I need you to pull through for me, for your family, for Madison." My lips were brushing back and forth against her knuckles as I closed my eyes. "I know we haven't been on the best of terms with talking and seeing other but I love you so much and I would be in the worst pain if I ever lost you."

I laid my forehead down on her bed as tears escaped from both eyes.

"Please." I begged. "I need you to stay here with me." Taking a breather, I looked back up at her. "I've never met anyone who had made me so much more happier than you do. I'm the happiest I've ever been and it's because of you."

I felt her finger twitch in my hands as I looked up knowing I was doing something write.

"Remember on the plane when we first met, you were struggling getting your bag in the carrier." I chuckled. "You were so fucking beautiful." Smiling, I looked down remembering the exact moment.

"Getting to know you on that trip was probably the best thing that happened on that trip." I smiled. "I went there to get away and just relax but then you came along, and all I wanted to do was just see you."

I leaned on my elbows as I brought her hand up to my lips. I took in her beauty as I watched her eyelashes twitch.

"Oh my god." I whispered. I stood up bringing my fingers to her cheek as I brushed against it. "Amanda?" I smiled.

Her eyelashes began to flutter but soon enough, stopped.

"Come on baby, I know you can hear me." I smiled as tears flowed down my face. I brought my lips down to her forehead as I repeatedly kissed her over and over again. "Guys!" I called out as they soon came rushing in the room.

"She started to wake up." I smiled. "Her eyes were about to open before they stopped."

"I think us being here with her is really helping." Mads smiled.

"I know she wants to wake up, we just need to help her." Her mom smiled. "I'll go get a doctor."

I looked back down at her sleeping body as my thumb rubbed back and forth against her hand. I was not giving up on her. No matter what.

It had been a couple days since Amanda's last awakening when I got a call from Madison saying she was awake.

I immediately got out of the shower getting dressed as I rushed out the door heading to the hospital. I made sure to take my time but speed up just a little. The last thing I needed right now is a cop pulling me over making me miss a chance to see her awake.

She's been in and out and I want to catch her while she's awake before she goes back out.

"Hey I've just arrived is she still awake?" I asked as I was on the phone with Madison.

"Yeah she's been asking about you. I told her you were on your way." She said over the phone.

"How long has she been up?" I asked.

"Not sure, I just got here about 5 minutes ago so a while."

"I'm coming up now." I said getting inside the elevator.
