Chapter 36

"Wow, this really is beautiful, Shawn." I smiled taking in the view of LA as the sun set.

He pulled out his phone as he snapped a quick picture of me. I smiled into the phone as he put his phone down indicating he was writing something on it or posting it somewhere.

Putting his phone away, he smiled over my way taking my hand in his.

"You're beautiful." He said.

"Thank you." I blushed. "You're not too shabby yourself." I winked.

We got our food as we sat there eating as we laughed and talked the night away. It soon began to get dark as Shawn stopped to take in the view.

"Amanda." He said looking back over at me.

"Shawn." I mocked putting my chin into my palms.

"I love you." He said making the world around me stop. My face dropped but my mouth remained closed as I repeated the words in my head. Did he just-? "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to just drop that on you." He shook his head.

"I love you too." I said cutting his sentence short as he looked up at me.

"Really?" He smiled. "You're not just saying that because-?"

"No, I really love you." I said perking up in my seat. "I've been wanting to tell you just been scared of rejection."

"Come here." He smiled pushing his chair back a bit as I stood up walking over to his seat.

I sat down in his lap as his hands rested on my hip looking into my eyes. Both of us smiled as our lips met with each others. My hands rummaged through his hair as the kiss got heated.

"Should we take this to go?" I asked breaking away.

"I think we should." He smirked.

We both got up as Shawn walked over paying the bill. He grabbed my hand rushing out of the restaurant as we got into his jeep and sped back to the house.

"What about Andr-?"

"They're gone." He interrupted smiling my way. Wow, he really did think this through.

The second we got to the house, we were eager to get inside as Shawn fumbled with the door keys. I giggled at how cute it was as he finally opened the door. I slammed it shut as he turned around shoving his body into mine as my back hit the door.

Our tongues fought for dominance as he lifted me against the back of the door pushing his body into mine so that there was no space between us. His lips travelled down to my neck as I let out a giant breath from how fast and hard our kiss was.

We eventually made it up the bedroom, our clothes stripped from each other leaving a trail behind on the staircase all the way upstairs. Shawn made sure he was gentle with me.

This was no ordinary sex, this was lust. This was the first time we were having sex where we couldn't stop telling each other that we loved the other.

Everything is only going to be different from here on out.

A couple months had gone by and the whole world had known who I was by now. I was Shawn Mendes' Girlfriend.

That's all people really called me in articles whenever they talked about me. They never addressed me by my real name. Shawn's career has taken off and he's bigger than ever.

I haven't seen Shawn in almost 2 weeks but he was flying back to Toronto for his sister's birthday. It was this Saturday and it was Thursday right now. He was going to fly back the day before but he talked to his manager and talked him into flying out a couple days earlier.

Right now I was waiting at the airport with a bunch of Shawn's fans. I wanted to surprise him when he got back so I was pretending to be a fan as I waited.

I had taken pics with the couple fans that were here as we all talked, about Shawn of course.

"Oh, there he is. Hide." One of them said as I put my baseball cap on and made sure my face was hidden a bit.

I waited at the end of the line of 6 people as they all got their pictures with Shawn.

"Hi hunny." Shawn said as I had my face down. I looked up at him as his face was in shock. "Baby." He said with a smile evident on his face.

"Hi." I smiled as he wrapped his arms around my waist picking me up in the air. I wrapped my arms around his neck squeezing him tightly as the fans 'aw'ed us.

"Bye guys." Shawn waved as set me down.

"Bye Shawn, Bye Amanda." We heard from the fans as I giggled.

Shawn took my hand as we got in the car and headed over to his apartment. Shawn has a spare key that the guy downstairs at the desk keeps for when someone like me or Shawn's family wants to come over when he's not around.

I'm not gonna lie when I said I might have stayed here the past week in his bed, with his clothes on.

"I missed you." I said as he set his things down. I walked over embracing him in a hug as I wrapped my arms around his torso.

"Missed you too, babe." He kissed the top of my head as we sat down on the couch.

We watched TV and did other things, that we missed doing together if you know what I mean before heading off to bed. We spent the next couple days together until it was time for Aaliyah's birthday party.

Shawn obviously offered to have it at his house because of the size and had invited all his family and her friends. It was my first time meeting his family ever so I was a bit nervous for everything.

I decided to keep it simple but cute with black skinny jeans and a long sleeve black bodysuit that cut low on my chest.

I heard the doorbell ring as I was in the bathroom just finishing up. I heard voices as Shawn sang Happy Birthday. I smiled before checking myself over in the mirror and walking out.

I had seen his mom, dad and younger sister as I walked over introducing myself.

"Hi." I waved.

"Mom, dad, Aaliyah, I'd like you to meet my girlfriend, Amanda." Shawn smiled putting the attention all on me as I hugged each of them.

I really hope this doesn't turn out to be one of those awkward first family meets.

I know I haven't updated in almost 2 weeks on this one but I've been focused on trying to slowly end my other book that I just forgot about this one.. I'll try to focus on this one a bit more lol
