Chapter 48

"Bye Mads, ill see you in a bit." I smiled as I dropped her off at her house.

Driving home, the snow started to get worse as I was lucky I was just down the street from my house.

Turning the corner, my car slid on the ice as I had steered the wheel not knowing which way I was going at the point. I felt my head hit the window and that was the last thing I remember before my mind went blank.

Shawn's POV

"Yeah dude, I fly in tomorrow morning." I nodded at Andrew.

"Cancelled tonight?" He asked.

"There's a bad storm back home so they don't want the plane flying in the weather." I shrugged. "It's whatever, I'll get there when I get there."

I had been having dinner with the guys back at the house in Malibu as my phone kept buzzing in my pants. I ignored it for a while but eventually picked it up considering the calls I was getting.

Looking down at my phone, it was Madison and she had called me about 10 times and shot me millions of texts.

"Shawn please pick up!"
"It's urgent!!!"
"It's about Amanda, I need you to pick up!"

"Guys I'll be back, I have to take this." I said standing up from the chair.

I walked outside closing the screen door as I called Madison back, she answered on the first ring.

"Hey what's up? Is everything ok?" I asked worried.

"No everything is not ok." She cried. "Have you landed yet?" She asked.

"Woah, what's wrong? Are you ok?" I asked.

"Shawn you need to get to the hospital now. It's Ananda, she's been in a car collision." Hearing her say those words, my heart instantly dropped.

"What do you mean? Is she ok?" I asked frantic.

"I don't know, the doctors won't let us see her but please Shawn, come." She cried.

"Fuck." I mumbled. "Mads I can't. My flight back to Toronto was cancelled due to the extreme weather conditions."

"Wait what?" She asked. "You're still in LA?"

"Sadly yes." I ran my fingers through my hair stressing out not knowing if I'll be able to ever see her again.

"You need to try to get here as fast as possible. I'll text you with updates." She said.

"Ok thank you. I'll see what I can do." I looked back inside as I had seen all the guys staring back at me with worry in their faces.

Walking inside, I got off the phone with Mads as I sat back down at the table.

"What's up?" Geoff asked.

"Amanda's been involved in an accident." I said looking down.

"Oh my god, is she ok?" Andrew asked.

"I don't know, doctors won't let anyone see her but Mads said she'll keep me updated till I land." Sighing, I ran my hands up my face in frustration knowing I can't be there right now for her.

"Dude I'm so sorry." Brian walked over patting my back as I gave him a slight smile.

I wasn't going to be able to sleep tonight knowing she was hurting. She was probably scared and needs me more than anything right now.

I laid in my bed awake staring at the ceiling as I felt a single tear roll down into my hair.

I felt my phone buzz as I quickly jolted up looking over at my phone. I grabbed my phone reading the text from Madison.

"Doctors just told us she's been in surgery for a little while and she should be out soon" -M

"Did they say her condition or what had happened?" -S

"They said that she had swerved on the road and a truck had smashed into her side of the car" -M

"Fuck" -S
"I'm glad she's still alive. I'll try my best to leave first thing tomorrow morning. I'll do whatever it takes." -S

"Have you been online yet?" -M

"No ive been avoiding social media..." -S

"Your fans are awesome and praying for her. Don't know how they found out but word has leaked." -M

"I'm glad :)" -S

I decided to go online as I had seen my fans posting pics of her, us, just with the team as they kept her in their prayers. Knowing I had all this support for her was just amazing.

I took a picture of the black room as I wrote....

"Thank you guys so much! It means a lot to myself and Amanda's family and friends for your support and prayers! All we can do is keep her in our prayers and hope for the best. I love every single one of you!! Xx"

Posting it to my story, I sighed setting my phone as I was surprised I could finally get some sleeping knowing she was alive and doing ok right now.

Madison's POV

I've been sitting in this hotel waiting room with Amanda's brother and mom as her brother had fallen asleep in my lap.

It was now morning and Shawn had caught the earliest flight he could catch out to Toronto but it was still a little while before he was going to get here.

"Miss Rose?" We heard as Amanda's mom shot up.

"Is she ok?" She asked.

"She's doing fine. Surgery went well but she hasn't woken up since. We think she's in a coma and we're not sure when she'll wake." He nodded.

"Oh my god." Her mom said with tears.

"Right now all we can do is just hope she wakes up soon." He smiled.
