Love At First Sight// S.M.

Chapter 34

It's been a week since Shawn last left Toronto and he was planning on coming back but we talked it through and he would have to be back in a couple days so I decided to fly out to LA for a couple weeks to make this work.

My mom was fine with it, yes I'll miss my brother and my mom but I really miss Shawn and it's a different kind of miss with him.

"I sent my driver to come pick you up." Shawn said through the phone.

"How will I know who he is?" I asked stepping outside LAX feeling the heat instantly making me want to go back inside. I looked around not even knowing what car to get in.

"It's a black SUV," he said as I looked around seeing a black SUV with a curly headed cutie sitting in the back, "really hot dude sitting in the back." He smirked as we both made eye contact.

I walked over to the car hanging up the phone as he got out taking my bag in his hand. He hurriedly put my suitcase and duffle bag into the trunk so he wasn't spotted as I got in the car with him following behind me.

"Come here, baby." Shawn said as he closed the door and put the window up.

I jumped onto his lap attacking his neck with my arms as I squeezed him tightly. He was laughing as his hands rested on my hips. I pulled back attacking his face with my lips.

"Baby." He whispered eyeing the driver. I got off his lap sitting back down beside him as I took his hand in mine. I couldn't take my eyes off of him the entire drive.

I was truly starting to fall in love with him. And yes, I know we haven't told each other we loved each other yet because it's a bit too early to know if you truly love them but I do believe it was love at first sight the second I saw him.

Not because he was Shawn Mendes but because of how sweet he was to a girl that he didn't even know. He helped me through something that I was extremely terrified of without knowing who I was.

I loved him.

I guess it's true what they say, the person you lose your virginity to, you become attached too because even in the whole month we weren't talking I had him on my mind everyday. I was miserable.

"Shawn.." I whispered catching his attention.

"Hmm?" He hummed looking over at me. I wanted to blurt it out so bad.

"I missed you." I smiled not being able to say it. I was scared of the reaction I was going to get, also scared of rejection.

"I miss you too, hunny." He pecked my lips as I realized we arrived at the house on the hills. We got out, Shawn helping with my bags as I walked inside to be greeted by Andrew and Geoff.

"Hey guys." I smiled giving them each a hug.

I caught up with all the guys as we sat in the living room, Shawn drinking a rye and gin the entire time. I'd say he was on his 3rd glass within the 2 hours which isn't bad but.. He's a bit tipsy.

"Sorry to cut this short but I'm gonna head upstairs. Not really adjusting to this whole LA time." I yawned. It was 9 pm LA which meant midnight back home in Toronto.

"It's all good." Geoff smiled.

I got up, Shawn following behind me as I stopped.

"You don't have to come too. Stay with them." I said.

"I've been with them everyday, I haven't seen you for a week." Shawn reminded me.

"Ok." I smiled. We walked upstairs into the bedroom as Shawn closed the door shut instantly grabbing my body as he picked me up. I wrapped my legs around his torso as our lips found each others.

He threw me on the bed as our kiss got heated causing us to undress one another, and next thing you know, we were making love on the bed.

We've had sex lots of time, but something about this one felt so different. He was gentle, and took his time.

"Shawn." I whispered as we laid there naked in bed just staring at each other. My hand rested on his cheek as he just smiled at me.

"Yeah?" He asked. I couldn't bring myself to say it, every time I felt confident enough to do it, something stopped me. I laid there just staring into his eyes as he waited for me to say something.

"I-" I said pausing, "I'm really tired." I finished as he just nodded.

"Go to bed, it's fine." He pulled me closer into his chest as I just closed my eyes. It took me a while to fall asleep but I eventually did.

Shawn's POV

"Got to bed, it's fine." I smiled pulling her closer into my chest as I loved the feeling of her naked body against me.

I couldn't really sleep after thinking about some things tonight. It was may be the alcohol talking in my head right now but I think I love her. I've never been in love before but I think this may be it.

I looked down to see her mouth partly opened as I heard tiny little snores erupting from her mouth. I smiled to myself at how cute it was.

"I love you." I whispered as I kissed the top of her head. It felt right saying it to her. I was finally able to go to bed after getting that off my chest. I'll tell her tomorrow.

Waking up, she was still asleep as I slowly got out of bed. I had big plans for her today as I got dressed and started making reservations.

I had booked the patio on top of a restaurant in downtown LA overlooking the view as that is where I was going to tell her. I got Andrew and Geoff to help with picking up some groceries for breakfast, some flowers, and chocolates.

I also went ring shopping, and no I'm not proposing. I just wanted to get her a cute ring with the letter A on it for her middle finger. I've already got her a necklace so I can't get her another one.

I met some fans while out shopping and took pictures. Guess word got out of me shopping around as more fans started to show up. It was time to go as we got in the car and headed back to the house.

When we got there, I realized I had left my phone charging upstairs and if she was up, she would have tried calling me.

We walked in seeing she wasn't downstairs so I took it as time to start preparing breakfast for us. Geoff and Andrew agreed to leave and give us the house alone for the entire day until tomorrow morning.

They're not gonna wanna hear what's happening later on tonight anyways.
