Chapter 45

"Why? What happened?" She asked sitting up.

"I just need a break from the fame lifestyle and Shawn." I shrugged. "I want to think some things through before I continue with him."

"What made you change your mind? You were so in love with him." She said confused.

"Mads, I do love him I'm just not in love with him yet." I sighed.

"Can't you guys just work through whatever problems you're having?" She asked.

"It's more me than him. He doesn't know I'm going back home yet. I haven't spoken to him since our conversation last night." Her eyebrows furrowed together as she gave me that look.

"What's up?" She asked rubbing my arm.

"Well remember when he was asked about the one night stands?" I said jogging her memory.

"Yeah why? Did him sleeping with other girls bother you?" She asked.

"More so the fact that he slept with two the time that we took that break for a month." I said. "I know I sound stupid because we weren't together but-"

"But nothing, you guys weren't together." She said.

"Yes but that just defines the person he is." I shrugged.

"Ok Amanda," she laughed "Neither of you knew that you guys were getting back together. As far as he knew, and you as well, you both were done."

"Can you just let me take a break and think about things?" I asked.

"Take a break and figure things out but don't let something like that come between you and him." She said. "I love you but you have major trust issues with guys because of your past."

"Not my fault guys are assholes and tend to cheat on me." I reminded her.

"I know that but you can tell, and I can tell that Shawn isn't like that." She smiled. "Yeah he hung out with Hailey but he did tell you that it was only business."

"It wasn't that I didn't trust him, it's that he knew how I felt about him being with her and he lied to me and went behind my back." I said.

"Ok so what are you gonna tell him now?" She asked.

"I'm just going to tell him the truth, I need a break from him." I shrugged.

"Why?"

"Because I need to think things through."

"Think what through?"

"Things, Madison."

"Like?" She asked.

"Oh my god, he'll understand ok?" I said raising my voice. "And if he doesn't then that's on him."

"Alright, I'll pack my things. You go talk to him then." She sighed.

I got up from the bed as I left her bedroom and walked downstairs. I had seen Shawn sitting with the guys as he looked up at me before quickly looking back down.

"Shawn?" I said lightly. He looked up at me as well as the others did as I smiled. "Can we talk?"

He nodded his head getting up as he followed me outside onto the balcony. He closed the door slowly making sure it was sealed tight so no one heard us as I felt his presence stand close by.

"I'm going back home today with Madison." I said as he nodded. He didn't look surprised or shocked that I even said this.

"Ok." Was all he said.

"Ok? That's it?" I asked.

"What else do you want me to say?" He asked.

"I just thought you'd have more of a reaction than ok?" I said attitude clear in my voice.

"I heard you talking the s'morning when I went upstairs to check on you." He looked down at his hands as I nodded. That explained everything.

"So then you know that, I want to kind of just take a break from all this?" I asked.

"Yup." He said popping the P.

"You're not even going to try and reason with me?" I asked.

"You already have your mind made up, why change that?" He asked finally looking at me. "If you need a break from everything, then take a break. I don't want to push you to do anything that will make you uncomfortable and unhappy."

"Thank you." I smiled lightly. "I'm not mad at you or anything, I just need to think about everything. I'm so in over my head with this whole relationship and fame." I sighed.

"I understand. It's overwhelming." He nodded.

After our talk, Shawn and I went inside as he helped me bring my things downstairs and to the door. He agreed to drive Madison and I to the airport as things were awkward in the car. No one talked, all that was heard was the radio.

"Thank you, Shawn. It was nice seeing you." Madison smiled. We all got out of the car as Shawn had parked in the parking garage so we could say our goodbyes.

"No problem. I'll see you around?" He questioned.

"Hopefully." She smiled. They both hugged it out as Madison said she'd give us time alone.

We both just wrapped our arms around each other as I took in his scent one last time. The hug lasted for a good 3 solid minutes as I finally pulled away.

"Bye Shawn." I smiled.

"Bye Amanda." He said as his hand slowly pulled out my grip. We parted ways as I began walking off. It wasn't until I got tugged around and felt his lips on mine.

Guess he just wanted one last kiss. I kissed back, hands running through his curls tugging at the ends.

"This isn't a goodbye, Shawn." I chucked.

"I know. I'm just gonna miss kissing those lips." He said. "I love you."

"I love you too." I whispered as we finally parted ways. Wasn't sure how long I needed but I was kind of already regretting this.

Ok so..... I don't know if I had already mentioned this but I wrote a book about Shawn and Selena bc let's be real, both are beautiful human beings and would make the cutest fucking couple.

Also there are so many manips of them together and I wanna kind of do a mix of and Instagram/Story thing together.. (if you've read Instagram wattpad books you'll know what I mean) but yeah, it's gonna be cute and I like it better than my last two stories I wrote.

Probably because its Shawn and Selena but like whatever, it's not so cringy lol.. I just don't know when I wanna post the first chapter for it. Probably sometime in February before I leave for Florida (I leave around the 13th to Florida).
